The question is quite simple, if you are using something other than your real name - what made you decide to pick it? I'll pop off on this later (some of you know the answear to this already), but for now I want you all to announce to your peers what made you pic the name you now gloss yourself with.

Oh, If it wouldn't be too much trouble - I would like to humbliy ask one of the mods to sticky this topic so that folk will always have a spot to ... and if this is the wrong foro for this um ... Sorry! (couldja move it to where it is the most apprapo).

I have this other one named Apathy. I use it because I love how it sounds when you say it, and the feeling of emotionless.

And if you we're asking about real names..well my first name is as close as you'll get, which is Jennifer. =P

NOTE: I hope I got the question right. It was rather confusing.

King Moonracer was the leader of The Land of Misfit Toys from the Christmas special, "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer." I had always thought it was "Moonraiser" instead of "Moonracer." In fact, his name was "King Moonraiser" in the script. Worked out for the best since now I don't have to worry about Rankin Bass sending me a Cease and Desist letter for diluting their character.

It's kind of fitting since I am a misfit in charge of a bunch of other misfits. (I mean that in a good way.) The "little green guy" character I use was thanks to Timebomb Sexy.

How I came up with my name...

I chose the name simply because it began with a 'B', and it also is the name of a nearby street in my neighborhood.

My friends wanted to give me a nickname, so they thought 'Gopher' was a good one. This is why...

Gophers are short. I am short.
Gophers are furry. I have a beard.
Gophers are easily amused. I am easily amused.
Gophers live in dark holes. I live in someone's basement.
Gophers destroy property. I...um...yea...

So thus I became 'Gopher'.

Well, once you reach a certain point in fandom, you start to excersize their name at ridiculous amounts.

I used to follow the moniker, Spider Ruff Boy, which was a fusion of both Spider-Man and the Rowdyruff Boys. It was cool while it lasted, but a tad immature...so I just went with Spidey.

ok, im my last year of school my and my best friend made up lots of random characters. Scary Fairy was one, and looked thike me at the time.
the original SF consisted of black lines only.
i shall show you....

I got my name from my Nintendo DS.
I was thinking of changing my name in the profile thing from Jeff to a diferrent name, I chose Broken but I changed it back. Then when I decided to join the forum I was thinking of a username, I remembered the name on my DS I had tried, so I typed Broken and that's how i got it. Also I kinda feel that way too.

OK, here's the scoop on my Nombre de Message Board: I take my name from the Underground Danish Heavy Metal Singer by the name of King Diamond. Simply put, this guy paints his face like Gene Simmons's weirder younger brother and sings about the Devil and other such "lovely" stuff (re. those stories you tell around the campfire at night in the woods) in a high piched voice. This guy has recorded albums both as a "Solo" artist and with a band called Mercyful Fate (often called KD/MF for short). For those of ya unfamiliar with "Tha King", here is a pic of him from some fan site (I forget 'witch'), this was also from the album "In The Shadows" he recorded with MF in '93

How I came up with "Wing Diamond" ... Back in 1998 when the Wings were making thier 2nd Stanley Cup run, I was going to go to a "Watch the Wings at the Joe while the team is on the Road" Party and wanted to Dress-up for the occasion. I was in a record store talking about it and I said something to the effect of doing King Diamond Red Wing style, remembering when I imitated him in a haunted house I worked at years before. Ken, the record store owner said "I Know! WING DIAMOND!". I said, "Thank You Ken! THAT'S IT!" Went home, put the make up on - and that was that!

'Agent Orange' is a song by German thrashers Sodom. The song got stuck in my head shortly before I signed up at RR.net, so I decided to use that as screenname and been using it ever sicne.

I don't know, I like the character Ace but didn't want to seem too 'lovey', to be honest, fangirls get on my nerves some times. I was then browsing neopets and remembered the Malevolent Sentient Poogle Plushie and I decided to use the Plushie idea. Whether I'm evil or not is up to you.

Also, whether this is my attempt to make fun of fangirls that is your decision too.
