Quote: In our case, for example, in the two parks that we have at downtown east, we do a lot of cross-promotion, you see. We promote the parks, with tickets build into our resort rooms, for example. We bring in shows all the time. You’ve got to create new ideas to keep the visitors coming back. We’ve been running, sometimes, special shows, like the Powerpuff Girls in the theme park, and we’ve tried to do some sort of water ballet performances in the water park, which we have to do. In other words, you have to create new ideas and new buzz, to get people to come back… besides just pricing. Sometimes, they have a one-year ticket to come back but they may not come back unless it’s interesting enough. You’ll find that the parks rely a lot on the pull factor from kids. When we did a special programme in our parks, for example, with Powerpuff Girls, promoted together with Kids Central, it was very successful. The kids wanted to come see the performances. At the same time, they don’t mind taking the rides. It comes together.

Anyone ever head of "Wild Wild Wet" or "Escape" theme parks in Singapore?
