[Bret]

Bret stood in the back alley, his eyes small and intence as he watched his brother Blaze. He reached up and wiped the nervous sweat from his brow then whispered suddenly.

"Blaze...are you sure? I'm beginning to think this isn't such a good idea..."

His brother looked up at him with a sneer as he continued to draw symbols on the concrete wall with a ragged piece of chalk.

When did you become such a pussy Bret? He shook his head and in a mock discusted tone grumbled. "Man...back when we were enemies I used to think you were almost tough."

Bret frowned and clenched his fists as though he was ready to hit Blaze and shouted at him, "Whats that suppose to mean!? Don't think just cause I'm using my brain that I can't still kick your face in!" Blaze glanced up in alarm as Bret lost his cool, "Shhhh!" He looked back down the alleyway and saw a woman on the sidewalk staring at them both with a frightened expression just before she ran off.

Blaze growled softly, "Great...did you have to flip out like that? Now she's probably gonna call the cops and those wimpy Powderpuff girls. And we won't be able to finish the game...crap this sucks!" Bret turned halfway away from his brother and looked a little relieved as he folded his arms over his chest, "Maybe it's just as well...Mixy and Decie and all the others will probably show up too. And to be honest I'm not sure how I would feel about them knowing what we were doing here today." He blinked as he looked down and saw Blaze franticly trying to complete the symbols on the wall, His brother glared up at him and snarled softly, "Just cause you had to go and throw a hissy fit doesn't mean we're caught yet! If I can just get these done before we're interrupted... and anyway if they do show up I'll just slap em all around a bit and finish dispite them."

Bret scowled and lifted an eyebrow with a little bit of surprise on his face, "You'd try to beat up our friends?" Blaze laughed scornfully, "YOUR friends ya mean...when did you ever get the idea that I had made friends with them?" Bret muttered as he looked away from Blaze, "Always so tough huh? I seem to recall you getting a little cozy with one of the girls during that day at school when time went all haywire...or have you forgotten?"

Blaze made a face and chuckled, "I didn't forget...but your gonna have to learn bro that not liking a girl doesn't preclude acting nice so you can get into her pants." Bret grunted in responce, "You make me sick..." Blaze retorted with a laugh, "Awwww...sticks and stones Bret...sticks and stones."

After winning the exchange with his brother he went back to his chalking symbols on the wall with a little bit better spirits. It always cheered him up to irritate Bret, no matter how bad things looked if he could manage to rattle Bret's cage it was a good day. He grinned to himself as he finished up the design on the wall and dropped the busted chalk piece. He then folded his hands in front of him and began to mutter something as fire erupted in his upheld palms, it quickly spread to envelope the large design on the wall. Bret stood silently beside him with a grim expression as something well over seven feet tall and black as night began to emerge from the portal that had been created from Blaze's fire power and the symbols he had drawn.

Bret took a step back, holding one hand behind his back as he looked up at the monstrosity that Blaze had summoned. He didn't want Blaze to know that he was nervous but he began to form his windblade in his hidden hand. He frowned as he looked at Blaze growling softly, "Okay...so now we got it...what are the rules of the game again?"

Blaze chortled looking very self satisfied as he gazed at the creature he had brought into the mortal world. "Well ya see we challange this thing to a contest...anything we want. Or we can give it a task, if we win the contest or it can't complete the task we get one wish. Sounds pretty sweet don't it?"

Bret rubbed the back of his head, he had to admit a wish sounded good. He could have anything he wanted...but what he wasn't sure about was wether they could come up with something this beast couldn't do. "I dunno bro...that thing looks pretty formidable. What can we give it to do that it might not be able to do?"

Blaze chuckled and leaned close to Bret whispering something that actually made Bret laugh. "Oh I see now..."
