Did you ever have a father, mother, or older sibling convince you when you were a naive child of an outrageous "fact" that stuck with you for a while?

When I was five, there was a soccer game on TV. One of the players must have slid into the grass, because he was walking around with a green forearm. I asked my dad what happened to him. He told me that happens when you don't eat enough green vegetables. I believed that for a long time. :oops:

I was told that if you hit your mother (not that I ever would) your hands would shrivel up and fall off.

When I was 6 I stayed up most of the night on Christmas (because I believed in Santa claws back then) and my brother told me if I kept staying up Santa claws would beat me up and take my presents

So, Moonraiser, according to that, you need to eat A LOT of vegitables. What with the green hair and everything.

That I had to wear clothes or else the police would take me to jail. I was somewhat of a nudist as a child.

lol, for a short while my older sister made me believe that I was adopted from aliens...so yea, she made me believe I was an alien. I also was told that crying shrivels up my.......yea...XD
