I don't know when production starts(started), I don't know when it will be released and frankly I don't care. Wait, yeah I care they're going make a LIVE ACTION EVANGELION MOVIE! Now I know some of you that have seen the show are thinking 'why are they doing this? Why are they going to ruin a perfectly good anime show with a live action performance move?' Well at least you can know that the studio that did the special effects for the 'Lord of the Rings' movies are going to be working on the project. I don't have all the details 'caust when I found out about it I was to excited to read, but here's a link to where the news about it is, and if you scroll down about halfway down the page there'll be a video interviewing two of the workers from 'Lord of the Rings' about the movie.

Personally, I can't wait for it! I'd love to see how modern movie magic is turn Evangelion from anime masterpiece to movie epic.

| cool, since Lord of the Rings and King Kong had some nice effects, it might not be so bad. Depends if they don't kill the storyline to it. Movies usually do that... |

Naw, you wouldn't ruin an anime by making a live-action movie for it. You'd only ruin an anime by making a live-action movie that changes the storyline and characters for the director's best interests and not the fans.
Like Micheal Bay.
....
Digressing, I wouldn't mind NGE being made into said movie. I think that'd be the shit. But that means that Shinji would only have a max of 2 to 2 and a half hours to kill 16 Angels.
Talk about impossible odds! |
