I can talk about Neopets like an old person talks about his childhood. Considering I was a member back in...4-5th grade (some 7 years ago)
*whips out cane* "Back in my day, there was no 'Merridell', and we didn't have SO many gosh-darn-tootin' pets. You had aisha...that was about it. And if you didn't want that one, you had to walk 15 miles in the snow, barefoot, uphill, both ways, to get another one."

See, just a lot of teenagers have realized that taking care of a little virtual pet that you can't even abuse isn't fun. What's the fun of having a pet that has no consquences having when you can't kick it? Huh? I'm destructive, I like killing shit. Taking care of a pet just doesn't do it, especially when it's fake.
