All I can say is that this album totally annihalates the faces of all those with a face. A lot of people claim to not like Blind Guardian's new direction, but they're a bunch of retards who don't know how to get out of the past. Like you guys who still listen to Aerosmith. Newsflash: Aerosmith is awful, you and your mother share the same favorite band. Anyway, A Twist in the Myth is a solid Speed/Power Metal album that's a must have for all fans of music that does not suck. It's much darker and heavier than past Guardian albums, and has a lot of Thrash elements, some more modern sounds to it, and Blind Guardian still manages to sound like the same awesome band they've always been.

Buy it. Own it. Listen to it. This album is the greatest thing to happen to music in a very long time. They're my favorite band for a reason.

Well, that being said, I disagree with taht whole bash on Aerosmith. Sure...live, they suck huge testicles, monster tenticles...and etc.

But recorded they are actually quite a competant band with good catchy music that has worked and earned them a fortune.

And Thrash...there is only "one" album where you can say all of that:
buy it, own it, listen to it, love it, etc.
