| For those who are fans of his music: What do you guys think would happen if Ozzy died? I mean, it's gotta happen soon, right? He's like friggin' 70 years old and he's STILL not retired! If Ozzy rocks anymore, I think it'll be the death of him. |

I see a grim future. An apocalypse....of METAL.
....
Or, just....nothing really. Some people are gonna be sad. I just don't care about Ozzy anymore. I mean, props and all, but I won't slit my wrists over it. |

| Nothing, Black Sabbath will just live on in the fans and I'm sure they'll still be played decades after Ozzy dies (or if the band splits up before that). |

AO's right. Look what happened with Elvis and the Beatles. Elvis is dead, and the Beatles only have two surviving members, but thanks to the fans that are out there the music lives on.
I seriously don't think Ozzy's in his 70's though. |

| Maybe Ozzy will write down a list of 10 things to do before he die, including... making his special appearance on an upcoming Sesame Street episode! |

He's not even 60 yet. Now's not the time to talk about him dying.
And if he does, well...
My heart will go on. |

It will be like when James Brown died. Except instead of the godfather of soul, they'll say Ozzy was the godfather of metal. And there will be tons of boring dumb tribute shows overrating his entire career like when anyone famous dies. Then the world will go on not really caring all that much.
I also heard he announced his retirement quite recently. I don't know what he has planned for tours, but it's been said he's doing his final ones and that's it. Whether or not he withdrew that statement, I don't know, nor do I really care much. He is actually 58 years old as of now, so we might as well refer to him as someone "pushing his 60's". Which is pretty damn old for an active rock musician.
Personally, I am not too big of an Ozzy fan. Not anymore anyway. I feel Black Sabbath was of much greater quality when Ronnie James Dio was doing the vocals, and I'm greatly looking forward to Tony Iommi and Dio going on tour to play their Black Sabbath stuff under the guise "Heaven and Hell". (Due to the fact that Ozzy's bitch wife Sharon legally owns the name "Black Sabbath" along with anything else that had to do with Mr. Osbourne's career).
So when Ozzy dies, I'm gonna watch the world fall to their knees and worship another fallen idol, talking about him like he was totally the greatest man ever to breathe air, and I'm gonna probably throw up a little in the back of my throat at the goofiness of it all. |

kinda agreed. I'd say that I liked Black Sabbath better when they had Ozzy in the vocals, and I even like Ozzy better out of Black Sabbath. ANd about Ozzy himself... I like him! really enjoy to watch his interviews (the recent ones, the 70s ones, whatever \o/) and I have a great admiration for his wife, Sharon, knowing her life story as much as I do.
As always it'll be lots and lots of documentarys and people saying what a wonderful man he was (despise all "oh, he hate a bat!", "oh he did drugs", "oh he broke the law lots of times" and etcs. In the very second he die, he'll be worshiped as a God.)
Maybe Mtv will do a special program talking about his life, or a marathon of the "reality show" "The Osbournes" (really, the biggest contact that this guys had with Ozzy's music recently =\)
But nufin of it will stop the fans of listening to Ozzy. We'll miss him, yeah, we really will do (a lot) but no gd thning last 4ever and life goes on.
Tell me Rellik, does the idea for this topic came with the death of James Brown Õ.Ô |

And the radio stations will have "Ozzy Day" where once a year they play nothing but Ozzy music and talk about every aspect of Ozzy's life from when he was born 'till the day he died and every single thing he did in between. Then they'll have rock figureheads pop up and talk about how much their lives were inspired by Ozzy and how great a god they thought he was.
Just like they do with "Kurt Day". |

Okay, so basically what you meant when you said that you kinda agreed was that you're not agreeing with anything that I just said at all.

If he died I would take the following steps:
1) Attend his funeral
2) Find a way to die before the Great Apocalypse of heavy metal occurs |
