I know that a majority of the people who rp are involved in a couple other Threads but this one is for later, but there's some things i'd need to do before we get things off anyway, so i'm posting this so people can sign up and then later i'll post up the back story that starts us off...

Here it is...

Title: Zodiac Paradise

People from different signs of the zodiac happen to be the last of their sign. Being the last of their sign, they journey to a fabled temple where they have the chance to save everyone who died in the Zodiac Wars (meaning everyone but these last people of their race). No one knows whether the Zodiac Temple exists BUT what’ve they got to lose? The Signs of the Zodiac, whether they meet up or start off together, travel to find this paradise facing trials and tribulations.

People of the zodiac sign can turn into and control the transformation into their zodiac animal. Everyone can turn into their Zodiac animal to whatever degree they want. For instance if I get the Tiger and I want to walk around with Tiger claws, I can do that. When injured in this state of duality (between human and Zodiac form) it will take time for both sides to regenerate themselves. You cannot transform any farther until both sides are regenerated. So if you get sliced with claws while you have the ears of a rat, then you can’t get rid of the ears ‘til you’ve healed. When complete death is brought to the human body, the Zodiac body will surface completely. During this time period, your human body is recharging itself. If you die in your Zodiac body before your human body is completely restored, you die completely. Goodbye, So Long. Oh, and also. When it comes to turning into your animal, for instance if you have the rat, your animal form will be human sized. So if you’re 5 foot 6 in human form, you’ll be a 5 foot 6 rat.

Zodiac Animals and their Powers:
Rat - Power of Reanimation. Gives inanimate objects life. If the object is based on a living thing, real or fictional, it becomes real and can move/walk/fight, etc.
Ox - Immense strength (Obviously) Not much else to really say about that.
Tiger - Balance - Yin Yang - body is split into 2 separate parts, one yin one yang.. Yin is not necessarily evil, but dark. Yin: the darker element; it is passive, dark, feminine, downward-seeking, and corresponds to the night. So if you’re male and you get this character, you can have it be when you separate, the Yin side of you is female and the Yang side is male. Or if you’re female and you want both sides female that’s fine too. Of course, I’ll leave how that’s done up to whoever gets this. Yang is the good side. It is active, light, masculine, upward-seeking and corresponds to the day. Along with being able to split, when your sides are split you can use your powers of your corresponding side. Yin: control Darkness. Yang: control Light.
Rabbit - Immense Speed.
Dragon - Conflagration (<- pretty much combustion.) When this person wants to use their power they can concentrate on something and it will start to get increasingly hot until it bursts into flames. Also has the ability to shoot fire from hands or mouth.
Snake - Invisibility.
Horse - Healing. Health and body regenerates quicker than everyone else’s because of the power.
Sheep - Power of Astral Projection, or the ability to eject the soul from the body and wander as a spirit. As per usual, your human body is vulnerable during this time so you’ll have to find a safe place to use your power. If your body dies, your soul will return to your body and you will turn into your animal.
Monkey - Power of Shape shifting. Not limited to just self. You can transform a rock into anything as well. The bigger and more complex the transformation, the harder it is and the more it takes out of you to transform it.
Rooster - Flight
Dog - Telekinesis
Pig - Power of Laser/Heat-Beam Eyes

For the record. For this RP I don’t need ALL the Zodiac Signs. Some of them could’ve been completely eradicated. I’m going to be picking whatever signs you get at random. Which you really shouldn’t complain about anyway cause they’ve all got some kick-ass powers. I’ll most likely put a name in one hat and a animal in a separate hat… then pick a name…. Then pick the animal… then whatever you are, you are. IF there aren’t a lot of people who join up, say if there’s five or six, and you’re unhappy with your animal and want to choose a different one. PM me and I will draw from the hat again and get you a different animal. I’m a nice guy like that. But I will do this ONLY once… And when I pick out your new animal, if you don’t like what was chosen for you the second time, you can choose between the two as to which you‘d rather have.

There are 12 animals. If SOMEHOW 13 (and I don’t think we even really have 13 rp-ers) want to join. I will pick names out until the animals are gone. When the animals are gone, whoever is left over, I’m sorry but I, as the creator of the rp, cannot include you in this rp. I’m sorry but the only things really left on the planet are the remaining people and some nrpc’s.

Post if you wanna join. Lemme know. We can do character bio’s later just give me a post saying “I’m in” or something to let me know and when you get your animal you can create your bio around it.

I'm very content with the turn out of sign ups thus far.

What i'm gonna do to get things goin just a bit more, is let you all know that by friday I'm closing off sign ups and i'm picking the names and their animals.

Twilight has decided to rechoose her animal... she asked me for the horse but i couldn't just GIVE it to her... so i rechose and she got the horse anyway. So. Twilight is no longer the Rooster but the horse... and now the Rooster is up for grabs

Name: Tyson Phillips

Nickname: Slick

Zodiac: Ox

Power: Strength

Height: 7' 5"

Appearance: A white muscle shirt that is very tight on him, blue jeans that are tighter at the top then at the bottom, black combat boots.

Hair color: Black hair that comes down slightly past his shoulders, pulls back into a ponytail when he battles

Eye color: A very deep and thick blood red

Accessories: Wears black fingerless gloves, and several old bracelets he refuses to take off. Around his neck he has a chain, holding a bone from each animal he has killed. He holds every bone of the zodiac on it.

Markings: Number 23 tattooed on his right shoulder, claw marks on his left shoulder.

Family: Lives with his mother and his father, descendant of one of the "Elder Council" the group of Oxen leaders who run the Oxen towns.

Personality: Slick is a very popular guy, his mind is said to change drastically but he always keeps one person very close to him. He believes strongly in the fact that as long as you're not alone, you can never be at a disadvantage. He enjoys working out more then anything, and does it quite often even if he doesn't have weights with him.

Background: He grew up in the ox village, and was still much taller then the rest of those he grew up with. His body was much more refined then most and he was head of the shooball (will explain at the bottom) team, his favorite sport. He came very close to being expelled for taking fighting too far, because while Oxington approves fighting, when you bring them close to death it's frowned upon.

Shooball: You change into your Ox form and each team is on the other side of the field. Your side is granted a number with the colors of the team you are on (Slick's is 23) and there is a very thick steel ball in the middle of the field. You charge it and attempt to ram it into the other person's goal posts, they have to attempt to stop you. Horns are covered in thick leather to keep you from goring people, though every other form of attack or rough play is accepted.

Foster Father/ Malachi (believed to be dead)

Background: Amy helps out on her mother's ranch with the horses, and usually spends her freetime in the fields singing, tending to flowers, or praying in the Church Ruins. Possessed by the Zodiac Sign of the Horse, Amy becomes a White Horse whenever she is near hysteria. Her real family was murdered by a certain Zodiac tribe, though Amy is not sure which one. Even if she did know, she wouldn't go for vengeance. Unhealthy at an early age, whenever Amy becomes the Horse or heals, her life force slowly slips away...

Power: The power of Reanimation
Power Details: I can bring any inanimate object to life. At the current level that I’m at right now, I don’t have the ability to reanimate very complex things. Maybe a very large rock or even a waist tall toy or something of the sort.
Height: 5’6” (when I transform into a rat and stand on my hind legs, I’ll be 5’6” as well)
Weight: 130 lbs.
Clothing: (for the record… clothing transforms WITH you… so you don’t have to get neked in front of everyone when you transform… as interesting as some people might think that‘d be… ANYWAY…my clothing:) A white long sleeve shirt with a black t-shirt over top. Black fingerless gloves. White Baggy Cargo Pants. Black shoes. Normally wearing a black bandanna.
Hair Color: short blonde slicked back hair
Eye Color: Yellow

Personality: Usually a happy, fun filled guy when you finally get to know him. Getting to know him is sort of the problem. When you first meet him, he’ll utter a hello and have the usual awkward chatting that acquaintances do. He’s had some things in his past that makes him not want to converse with new people. (And for the record, I’m stating this now… Dante did NOT get raped… it sounds like it but it isn’t what happened) Once you get past his “I hate everyone and hope they die” exterior, he’s an awesome guy to hang around with. He tries to be funny (doesn’t always work but he tries) and when it comes to being serious he gets right down to it. He’s self-less, and is always willing to think about someone else before himself.

Background: He was pretty much chosen from birth to be in this situation. Not because of some destiny or prophesy or anything like that but because it came down to two babies and the person who picked did eenie-meenie-miney-moe and landed on him. A baby was chosen from each generation in case a time of war sprung up. It was always this way with the Rats. Rats were unaware as to whether other tribes did this but they figured they’d plan ahead. Dante lived his 18 years going through all the shit and persecution that he never even deserved. Upon learning of his history and how the Zodiac War started, he developed an instantaneous and extreme dislike for the Oxen race. He would do anything to insult one or just completely all out avoid one his entire life. When the final battle sprung up Dante was pulled out of his home without warning and thrown into a ceremonial cave with enough food to last for 3 or 4 days. When the food and water ran out, he was ordered to return to the outside world and travel to the fabled temple of Extoriem.

Guy: “Now get in there and shut up. Could ya do that?”
Me: “Yeah, sure. But you didn’t have to throw me on my ass, asshole.”
Guy: “Listen, when you get out of here, you MUST travel to the fabled temple of Extoriem. It’s vital to your races’ survival.”
Me: “Alright, how do I get there?”
Guy: “Oh, right…. Uhh it’s a quest, see. And you’ve gotta figure out how to get there yourself.”
Me:“Okaaay, can you at least tell me what direction it’s in?”
Guy: “Uh… it’s that way.” He points off in a random direction.
Me: “You don’t know where it is do you!?”
Guy: “YES!…… No……. SHUT UP!… Of course, we don’t! That’s why they called it FABLED temple of Extoriem.”
Me: “YOU SUNUVA BI--” and the door to the ceremonial cave slammed shut…. “tch.”
