| This might have been answered several times, but not enough (since I dont know...) But anyway, how is it that Craig doesnt have any say in PPGZ? Futher more, how did the girls even make it to Japan without braking copyright laws? |

It's not Craig McCracken who owns the copyright and license to PPG, but Cartoon Network. They decide what happens with it and can do with the license whatever they want. They most likely sold it to CN Japan (or at least granted them permission to use it for the creation of the anime spin-off), so there isn't any copyright breach involved as far as I can tell.
Craig is merely the creator of the show and was its executive producer and director during the first 4 seasons, nothing more. |
