First Part:
At the first bit, I started liking Miko but then hated her again once I started thinking about this episode more. I think she was actually jealous of the PPGZs because she got the most attention in everything except for what the PPGZs do...superheroing. So then there are two parts to her plan for why it came out as a sucess...
1) She video tapped the whole fight and using her family's money, made a cemercial with edited clips to make it look like the PPGZs were losing to Mojo and she saved the day instead of the PPGZs beating Mojo really badly and Miko only getting in the way.
2) She first beated out the PPGZs to try to show Tokyo city citizens that she was stronger then them and then beated out Mojo to show the media that she wasn't a villain so then she would become their new top super hero.
I found this episode to be making fun of Sailor moon with all the Sailor moon poses and reference in it ._.;
A little of the animation in this episode part seems to have a bit of the flavour from episode 36
Second Part:
I enjoyed this episode pretty much too, all of the scenes were pretty funny with their families and how the episode ended was pretty good. At least from what I noticed, the animation never went as lower then what we saw in the episode 'Magnificent 7' which is good.
I would of liked this episode more if it was a two parter instead though, the humour for PPGZ has been better lately and this episode was mostly humor. This episode could be proof for how funny PPGZ can get and if they have the skills to be as funny as the original Powerpuff Girls. They are doing better then they did back in season one, I guess I could say.
I'm only wondering this but....why is toei suddenly thinking of so many creative ideas for PPGZ now so close to the season finale and not before? |
