Don't expect a whole lot, guys. XD;; I haven't drawn much of the PPG in the last several years, but occasionally I pop out some weird crossover pics.
Here's one I did a few weeks ago, of Tomoe Marguerite and Nina Wong from Mai Otome. (The one in the middle is Miya Clochette, drawn by my friend Mani.)
Really not a best example of my drawing skills, oekaki or otherwise, but I suppose it's ok for doing it in about 8 minutes. :oops:
I'm planning to post my PPG-related comic once I get around to inking it. |

Oh god, don't start with Otome. XD;;
If you watch it just like that, it'll be totally disappointing and make no sense.
You really need to see "Mai Hime" first. I'd highly recommend Hime to any anime fan, because it has such a great cast of varied characters and something for anyone.
Mai Otome is kind of an alternate reality sequel using all the same characters, and a few new ones. It's also a bit og a Gundam ripoff. I'd only watch Otome because it's fun to see the original characters in their strange new roles... but it's really not as interesting as "Hime" in my opinion, especially on its own.
The only reason I love Otome is for one character, who is not (technically) present in Hime, and that's Tomoe Marguerite.
Observe, just some of the many interesting expressions she makes (they get crazier than this...)
Not only is she a twofaced, psychotic (and gay) little bitch, but later on it's revealed that she has a VERY strange fetish. It's not an especially attractive one, but somehow that weird addition to her character makes her even more unique and endearing... not to mention fodder for some really hilarious fanart and parodies, lol. |
