Maybe. We just played our debut last night at a little place called the Goodtime Cafe. Our potential band manager was there checking us out because she loved our album and wanted to see our live performance. Well, turns out that she was "very" pleased with our performance and wants to take us on as our manager. Now, just so you get an idea of how far she got, she worked with the managing of mother fucking Pantera! :O

Anyways, she's going to help us build a professional website, a portfolio and whatnot, and in six months time she will be throwing us a party in which we will be performing to all of her contacts.

Ahem, AFS may very well become a signed band...i'm at like a loss for words. It's a dream come true..."almost"!!!

I mean, I've heard a bit of this and that from the clips you've provided in your band's Myspace, and I think it's awesome. But I'm sure we do know how hard most artists, no matter how talented, can struggle to get any sort of employment in the world they live in.

But, yeah! It's freaking sweet to know that you might get signed and maybe get to actually fully dedicate yourself to something you're passionate about.

If you do, then I'm gonna get someone to root for while I quietly rot away in my future desk job, becoming a slave to the evil corporate machine. Woo!

Anyways, here's to wishing you the best, SRB. :D

Haha, I certainly hope our music is played overseas. That would be gnarly...but people living in Canada are more than likely to hear it first. Ever heard of 54-40? They're a popular Canadian rock band. If we keep things up, she'll be aiming to get us to open for them at a little place called Lee's Palace!

If that comes, and if you live in Toronto, COME CHECK OUT AFS!!! ^.^

5 years from now, I'm going to be watching MTV. Still failing to find any MUSIC VIDEOS on MTV, I'm gonna flip to Fuse. Then VH1. Realizing that by that time all those channels will have degraded into sources of nonstop reality shows, I'ma go to YouTube. Then I'ma type in AFS in the search engine and find a music video. When watching it I will say to myself, "Man, I knew those guys. Well, not really but I kinda sorta know that one guy from a forum that I was on. Yup. Good times."

Check it out. We have a couple of sample clips on there with extremely dumbed down quality of our tracks, but enough to get by.

Hahaha, youtube, what a wonderful little site it used to be. I'd be flattered if we got a music video with tens of thousands of hits, that would be great.

Keep in mind that this was filmed on a pretty low quality camera phone so the....quality is lacking, haha

btw, that's me that pops up in the end of the second video with the guitar on the right for like 6 seconds ^.^

edit: Hey, i've also taken the liberty to re-convert 3 tracks (one new one) and replaced the old ones on the myspace...so check it out. The songs are fully there and there's a new one...plus the quality is a bit better

It's me, Matt, im pumped for the 21st show, im looking forward to the new stuff, and you better not forget little old me when you hit it big, take it from me guys, i saw the show live, they blew my mind, absolutely incredible. And i would like to be concidered for editor on your upcomming music video (cuz i know you guys wil have one soon) i would love to be a part of it.
