Hey. I just wanted to let you know that The Powerpuff Girls is getting rejected and deleted from YouTube. The only Powerpuff Girls episode I had on my LDEJRuff account (before it got suspended today) was "Pee Pee G's." Well, I tried to log in, but I got suspended, and my videos were removed. When I tried to access "Pee Pee G's" there was a notice saying:

"This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by The Cartoon Network, Inc."

I've made another account, but I don't know if I'll upload any videos there now. However, I have made a dailyMOTION account, too.

What do you think of this video-removing news?

Well yea, now that those episodes are being sold so of course they're being dropped. I'm just surprised they managed to stay on as long as they did.

In a way, I understand why they're taken down: it's copyright infringement, because you're distributing them without permission.

On the other hand, YouTube videos ain't exactly high quality and you're always stuck with the small size when you download them (unless you have the tools to convert them back to. avi files or something in that manner), so one could also see it as free promotion.

But I guess that's what the DMCA was made for...

I'm normally against Youtube laying the smackdown on "copyright-infringing" material because most of the time it's stuff that you simply can't find anywhere else than on the internet, but PPG is far from that point. But hey! Wouldn't you rather want DVD-quality season sets now that they're finally being released? :mrgreen:

Exactly Boris!!

All things it's stuff that you simply can't find anywhere else than on the internet, And just for bad luck of many people, that's a cruel reality... but only for that, I'm going to say:

"SCREW YOUTUBE, I'm going to Veoh.com" or maybe Dailymotion.

(but Dailymotion is taking the same steps than makes Youtube, so that's not good at all)

That's my point.

^_^ *nod* Yeah, I agree.*has bought the first season boxset* Besides, I don't pretty much use YouTube anymore, now that it's taken down some anime that I was watching and some of my vids, so now I simply use DailyMotion.

I've pretty much given up on youtube, now that google took over if they did I mean ^^;

Powerpuff Girls is pretty popular, and more popular shows tend to have their episodes taken down first
