I'm hoping the posters at this forum are intelligent enough to use Firefox as a web browser. (Or anything opposed to Internet Explorer.) This thread however, is specific to just Firefox users. I was curious to what add-ons you all have with your firefox installation (if any), and if you could share them here. This is what I use:
AeroFox: Just a pretty look to go along with Vista. Nothing special.
Ad-block Plus: Self-explanatory. Better pop-up blocking than Firefox's already great pop-up blocking abilities.
FoxyProxy: If you did the same things I did, you'd want to hide your IP address too. :tinfoil:
FasterFox: Speeds up the already faster web browser significantly.
4chan: Just a quick drop down menu that brings me to whatever part of 4chan I so wish.
So what does RRN use? |

Some of the major ones I use...
Google Browser Sync: it allows me to keep my bookmarks in sync between multiple computers
Google Toolbar: Self explanatory
HTML Validator: Great when you're writing HTML or debuggin Javascript.
IE Tab: For those websites that NEED Internet Explorer to work right.
Verizon Minutes Used: Gives me minutes used on my cell phone. |

The Add-ons I use:
+ Adblock Plus - Self-explanatory yes...I just hate pop-ups...
+ DOM Inspector - For inspecting in-depth site's source, much better than IE's source viewer.
+ Download Statusbar - Display Firefox's Download Manager as a tidy status bar, easy to monitor and manage the downloads.
+ FlashGot - Integrates and manages download managers. My main one is FlashGet.
+ NoScript - The best defender against dangerous codes and even more useful later. This makes Firefox the safest browser of all. ;)
+ UnPlug - Locates and displays integrated medias information of any type on a site (YouTube for example), useful for seeking and downloading. ;)
+ User Agent Switcher - Gives Firefox the ability to switch into certain engines: IE, Netscape, Opera...Better and uses less resources than IE Tab, of course... |

I've got....
- Google Toolbar
- Imageshack toolbar (gives me tons of uploading options before I even go to the actual site, definitely awesome)
- Download Status Bar
- PicLens (nice add-on for looking at image results in search engines in a slideshow-esque manner, and without having to click on their source links which is definitely annoying. It doesn't seem to work with dA images though....)
- The glowyblue theme (new).
....
I was interested in a Mapquest toolbar, but I wasn't able to find one (not that I looked really hard) so I just have it bookmarked instead. Also, after reading Thrash's post I went ahead and got Fasterfox. Sounded like something I could use. |

Let's see what I got with this totally awesome browser....
-Google search bar
Add ons: Faster fox(Thanks to Thrash for pointing that out, now I got it downloaded :) )
-Aero Fox theme(Currently using. Eh, most of the other themes that I used to have, in the past, doesn't seem to be usable for this version such as japan black theme, which I had way back on an earlier version. So, I used this for replacement)
-Redshift V2 theme(same as above)
-Download status bar: Definitely recommended for the image hunters, eliminates that stupid download status bar that loves to pop-up and interrupt what you're are doing.
-Free download manager plugin
-piclens- no more have to click on the source to view a thumbnail, instantly just click on the little play button icon to get an big popup view, also with slide show view as well, to view the next picture, previous, pic and such.
-Talkback
And, that's all. |

What I have, and frequently use:
AdBlock Plus -self-explanatory
Answers - Alt+click on any word or term for quick info (definitons, references, etc). Its Wikipedia entries tend to be quite outdated though...
Bookmark Backup - creates a bookmark for every day in any folder I specify rather than the default folder
ColorZilla - Enables me to quickly find a specific color used on a website, forum, etc,.
Copy Link Name - Copies the actual name of an URL (rather than the exact address)
Download Embedded - Downloads embedded items on a website
Download Statusbar - Manage downloads from a tiny statusbar rather than the download manager
DownloadHelper - Downloads videos from many sites such as YouTube, etc.
Fasterfox - Helps make Firefox faster
FireFTP - FTP Client for Firefox.
Greasemonkey - User Script manager.
IE Tab - For when you MUST use Internet Explorer, this opens IE in a separate tab
Image Zoom - Zoom in on images
Linkification - Turn text links into clickable ones
PDF Download - download a PDF file or view it in an external reader using a separate tab
PitchDark theme - black theme to match the Zune theme that I use for Windows XP
Plain Text To Link (PTTL) - Highlight a text URL and open it with this extension
Popup Blocker Settings - Enable this to prevent ANY pop-up from appearing.
QuickRestart - Close and reopen Firefox at the touch of a button
StumbleUpon - Searches the WWW for random sites that can contain vidoes, images, etc. (requires - free - registration)
Tab Mix Plus - Tabs manager with session saver
Talkback - Comes standard with Firefox. Reports crashes to Mozilla
WebMail Notifier - Let's you know when new e-mail arrives for Yahoo Mail, Hotmail or Gmail
XHTML Ruby Support - Adds Ruby characters as small text above the base text, like they do in Japanese writing.

-Faster fox. Faster Firefox is faster.
-Downtheall: Ideal for those interesting threads.
-Flashgot: MUCH faster than normal loading. And it can do torrents too!
-Google toolbar: No explanation needed.
Sometimes I also use some generic weather/news toolbar. |

DownThemAll = Easier to use than Download Accelerator.
DeviantMessage = So that I always get notified of a new message in DeviantArt.
GreaseMonkey + DeviantPlus = To make messaging easier.
Imageshack Toolbar = My image host of choice.
4chan = Need I say more?
Wait, Flashgot does torrents, too? |

I pretty much updating the current add-ons that I got as of lately:
Adblock Plus-Definitely recommended
Aim Toolbar- Blah, I downloaded this when I updated my Aim, pretty much self-explanatory
Cooiris previews- Another great tool for image hunting or visit websites. Scroll your cursor right onto the "magnifying book" icon to get a preview of the site that you're about to visit without having to leave the page. Also applies to Images(Googles), Unlike Piclens, you can pretty much saved the images in a pop-up window of the newly rendered image.
Heck, you can even share links or save it with a little *Stack* bar appear on the right.
Downloadhelper- Download videos and images from many sites
Fast Video downloads- Saves videos from sites such as youtube
Flashgot
FoxyProxy
Free download manager- Just a nifty little download thing that I used for downloading Mp3 files(usually music).
IE tab- A add-on that you can view websites in both IE/Firefox view
imacros Records and plays Repetitious works
Image zoom Right-click and hold and then left click on a image to get a zoom in on the image
ImageShack Toolbar
No script
Tab mix plus- Tabs now have options when ever you right click them, such as: Reload tabs, Closed tab lists(keeps a list of websites that you just currently exited out of), Protect tab, lock tab, etc...
XHTML Ruby support
YouPlayer- Kind of like bookmarks, only reserved for videos such as Youtube videos, for instance. |

Ooh, thanks Vic!
*Downloads Cooiris Previews*
....
Browsing just got a little more fun!
Edit: Okay, Cooiris is starting to annoy me. Half the time I use it the window disappears automatically. I've been playing around with it, using it to post on RRN. Sometimes I'll have an entire post written out, and the window will disappear, as does my post. There are also certain things like Youtube videos in which the preview box will stay open for only a second or two before disappearing. Nice plugin, but it has its issues.... |

That happens to me too, especially when I visit someone's page on deviantart and click a thumbnail, but thankfully it has a little "Lock" icon that can lock the window in place so it doesn't keep disappearing. Yeah, that's the only con and complaint that I have with this system, along with clicking on a image and the window automatically pops-up. That and the window switching links when you scroll on a link, for sure.
Some add-ons that I just added while I'm here:
Mouse gesture-: what this does is that you have an 8-way pointer with the mouse by right-clicking(or left-clicking, depending how you set the button gesture to) so you can do stuff, such as: opening a tab, closing a tab, close an application, etc...
4chan- a little drop down menu is installed so you can visit the parts of 4chan such as, /b /r /e etc...
Smart bookmarks bar- this makes it so that the sites, that you added to the bookmark bar underneigh the address bar, to appear as icon while removing the name from it(just highlight it to get the name of the website that you just added on the bar).
