Hm, probably bad form to not show up at a forum for years then just sign up to show off what you're working on... hopefully i'll be forgiven, as... it is kind of awesome? :)

We've been working on it for a few years by now I think, but it's finally getting close to completion. I'm fairly excited.

Any questions or anything feel free to ask, though i'll try to avoid answering anything spoilery :)

The trailer literally blew me away! I knew it would look really good but I didn't know it would look THAT good....

Anyways, Parsec already addressed my questions on the other site so I don't have anything else to ask. Again, I cannot wait for PPZ3 to come out!

:)

The game is being coded with Darkbasic Professional. Its a programming language based on BASIC but geared towards making 3D games.

Magnificent! Great graphics and interesting gameplay. Can't wait for the final version! :)

Hmmm...I wonder if your project still got a position available for an audio editor... :?

Thanksthanks :)

re: audio - Parsec has finished all of the music for the game, heck I think he had it all done before I even started to code, and i'm pretty sure we have all the sound effects required. The game is pretty far into development so most everything is being dealt with.

That is REALLY impressive for something a fan(s) did!

Uh, wouldn't Craig McCracken sue you for taking copyrighted characters - or praise you instead?^_^

Would he sue you for making your PPG comics or praise you for doing such a good job at them? :P

Yeah, it's a non-profit fanwork so there's not too much risk of that.

There's no risk of him suing us at any rate - we'd get a cease and desist order first :P

That aside, this is Fanttastic- Especialy for a Fangame! Just... Jeez Louise, no wonder it took as long as it did!

Thanks thanks :)

Parsec put together another video from the latest beta.
This video shows the control system which is very different from previous PPZ's, and shows some of the new moves such as overcharging :)
