Dear All.
Following Powerpuff Girls complete removal from our screens in the UK, I have decided to go to the source...
********************************************************************************
The Programming Manager,
Cartoon Network,
1 Soho Square,
London,
W1V 5FD.
11th February 2007.
Dear Sir,
I am writing to you to express my concern about your scheduling arrangements over the past few months. I am from the Powerpuff Girls Fan Club, and we are all upset about the apparent discontinuation of the show on BOTH of your channels in the UK.
I am aware that this has also happened in the US, but now it’s the same here in the UK I have chosen to write and ask why this is and to request that the show is returned to your screens. I could comment on what programmes you keep and to ask why - Ed Edd and Eddy come to mind - but I would ask instead why on 2 channels there is no space for this show, one of your best!, yet others go out all of the time!
Now the one remaining show - Midnight! - has gone as well. Why?
Well, I can offer some suggestions if it would help solve your problem.
1) Is it coming to Boomerang?
2) Why not start up an Evenings channel - CN3 or even CN Gold, so that those of us who prefer your older stuff can go on there in peace.
3) Re-jig one of your existing channels.
Rather than just criticize, I am of course offering to help.
Incidentally, my signature is real. I lost my right hand following a stroke. The rest of me works though. I was seen through all the bad days by watching the girls…..
Yours Faithfully,
Steve P********
Well, we have to try don't we.
Cheers all,
Blossomgb |

Well the one showing at 23:50 is back, along with Dexter's Laboratory and Johnny Bravo.
At the monent, I have been asked not to publish the letter I have got back.

| currently, your attempt failed here at the states. But, you were trying for the UK, across the pond, right? I wish they would bring the show here too, but nothing. |

I really can't. But it's worked over here. 1 hour a day - on CN2.
In the UK, there are 2 Cartoon Network channels - and both are the same, so it was easy to fit in.
Cheers,

| Here in the states, we don't have a second Cartoon Network, just the newfangled one and Boomerang. I wonder if Cartoon Network 2 is more like how it was originally before it got a major makeover in the past fall or so. |
