Gee, I sure hope that the DVD cover doesn't look like that for the American DVD release! I was hoping that Craig McCracken would continue to model the following consecutive seasonal DVD's with the remaining Powerpuff Girls' faces on the front cover like he did with the first season (i.e.: Blossom's head was on the 1st season's DVD cover, Bubbles' head should've (hopefully on the American release) been on the 2nd season one, then Buttercup's head on the 3rd season DVD cover, then all 3 on the 4th one).
Either way as a hardcore veteran PPG fan I'll still be pleased that the seasonal DVD's are continuing to be released, but if the American release of the 2nd season DVD's don't have Bubbles's head on the DVD cover as the design art then there was absolutely no point of Blossom's head being included on the 1st one :(.
EDIT: I just caught the words on the bottom of that current DVD design "Artwork subject to change". Whew! What a relief :). |

Yea, I was gonna say. It'd be a bit awkward for someone like you or me to walk into our local Best Buys and buy a boxset that looked like THAT.

| Does anyone have any idea when/if this is going to be released in the US? I was hoping it would be released in early June :[ |

| Um, looking at the artwork differences and seeing that the DVD is sold off of an Australian site, do you think it's really authentic? It looks like the distributer's different, this might be a fan-made disc. |

It might be fan-made, but if you look up the complete season 1 on the website, it has the same style of box art and the same distributor, and season 2 was released around the same time in Region 4 as season 1 was last year so I'm inclined to believe it is authentic. Hopefully it is and will eventually be released in US because I can't afford to buy these from AU. |
