For those PPG fans who weren't able to get their hands a hold of a copy of the extremely rare 50th comic book issue (originally planned as a TV episode) "Deja View" I found a link that someone uploaded of the entire comic book scanned: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RMHZHN8T

I don't get it, do you have to download the Megaupload plugin to make it work?

....

Does anyone else use this plugin? I'll get it if someone who has it can tell me that it doesn't suck.

Ok, fuck the plugins then. I went with the mirror.

....

Yea, parallel universe. Ignorant characters in one universe are now scientists in the new one, good characters are now bad, okay....but nothing really grabs me. Plus, plotholes. How did their mirror become an interdimensional portal in the first place? Also, is it just me, or does this story feel a bit rushed? And the ending, wow. The Powerpuff girls couldn't find a more clever way of beating their evil counterparts? I mean, tricking the evil clones into flying right back into their own dimension just feels cliche. And exactly what changes was Jomo talking about in the end? He was gloating over the Powerpunk Girls like he had defeated them and justice would be restored, but what's to stop them from just escaping his grasp like they had been before?

....

Memorable moments:

Buttercup: Just put a lil' more elbow grease into it!
Bubbles: Ew, how's that going to help?

The professor covering the mirror with a blanket, in response to Blossom's claims that he's a smart man and can figure out how to fix the problem.

....

It's not badly written, but it's not anything I haven't seen before. Run of the mill, for sure. Could I see it done any better? Mebe the girls could have explored the evil dimension a bit more before immediately discovering that it was such. Iunno, that coulda been fun. Mebe it'd been better if the story was a 2-part one.

I give it a 3/5.

Heh heh... Parallel Universe Mojo has a Superman hair curl and a J on his chest. Even a broad chin line.

I agree with most of Gopher's complaints, but heck, you can't go wrong with obvious spoofs on characters.

Thanks for the hosting KM. =P

I forgot to post a comment here:

This comic is a wasted, golden, opportunity.

Done.

It's kind of a bit late... but I have no idea how I posted in a near three month-old thread. Sorry. XD

Well, it was cute. I liked Jomo's quiz and the professor's solution to the vortex problem a lot.

But it did feel too short to be an episode. I'm sure the 2 battles could have been drawn out.

The only thing i really liked was how they gave the idea out. There are parallel universe's of the girls, thus creating tons of other "parallel Puffs" for us to make.

I liked it either way, i was lucky enough to get the comic book. I got 48-51 actually, heh. I'm easy to please i suppose, it was a enjoyable read for me. You cant expect this idea to go very far though. The RRBs only went for about five episodes and they are way better D:.
