|
|
I created Robbie to be the Rowdyruff to Princess' Powerpuff. As the RRBs are basically the evil male counterparts to the PPGs, Robbie would logically be good as Princess is already evil. His name starts with an R for a reason. Think about it...
Real Name: Robert Adam Cernoggie (his name's a pun off the real world famous Andrew Carnegie)
Birthdate: April 7, 1997 (based on if the PPG continuity starts in 2002, going by the dates on the newspapers in the movie)
Physical Appearance: Curly red haired Caucasian boy with a dark yellow polo shirt and red shorts.
Dominant Hand: Left
Best Subject: English
Worst Subject: History
Second-Worst Subject: Mathematics
Siblings: John Cernoggie Jr. (age 13) and Alyson Cernoggie (age 9)
Religion: Half Roman Catholic, half Jewish (excuse for a Hanukkah special in the possible future)
Favorite Color: Somewhere between light orange/dark yellow
Favorite Animal: Duck
Bio: Robbie is the new kid in Townsville and the second-richest at that. Robbie is the youngest child in the Cernoggie family, with an older sister and even older brother, and the Rowdyruff to Princess' Powerpuffs. Some of Robbie's most notable possessions include a train that goes through the mansion, a duck pond, and a robot butler named ALBERT (Automated Little Butler Entertaining Robbie's Tastes) whom he is very fond of. Though Robbie was afraid that people might like him more for his money than for him if they learned he was from a wealthy family, he gained a number of friends who liked him simply for him, including Mike, Robin, and the Powerpuff Girls.
Personality: Robbie is a free-spirited and fun-loving boy who enjoys making friends wherever he goes. Though he doesn't always seem too bright, he's got a big heart and does have his clever moments sometimes. Robbie's best subject is English, and his worst subject is History, followed very closely by Math. He enjoys tag, hop-scotch, coloring, baking, baseball, playing with ducks, and filling the swimming pool with vanilla pudding and swimming in it. What Robbie wants for Christmas is superpowers (like Princess), world peace, and a personalized autograph from Babe Ruth.
Relationships
John Cernoggie Sr.
Robbie's father is a caring man, but he doesn't always have time for his children. However, he will do anything for them if need be. Cernoggie enjoys a good joke and usually tries (unsuccessfully) to get fellow rich father, Wilson Morbucks, to laugh along.
Rachel Cernoggie
John Cernoggie's late wife, whom he met and fell in love with at Harvard. She died giving birth to Robbie, but not before naming him.
John Cernoggie Jr.
John Sr.'s first-born son, main heir to the family fortune, and Robbie's 13-year-old brother, John apparently was a sweet boy before Robbie was born, at least that's what Robbie's been told. It was probably a broken heart from Rachel's death that made him the dull emo character he is today.
Alyson Cernoggie
Robbie's 9-year-old sister is just as spoiled and rotten as Princess Morbucks but is, fortunately, too lazy to be evil. Alyson has little regard for her younger brother, whom she deems as stupid, but Robbie actually credits her for inadvertently making him realize he wanted real friends when he saw how much her "friends" secretly hated her.
ALBERT
John Cernoggie's scientists designed ALBERT to be more friend than servant. Unlike the stereotypical butler, ALBERT has a warm personality and a good sense of humor which helped him and Robbie to grow rather close. ALBERT will do pretty much anything for Robbie or his friends--not just because that's how he's programmed but because he truly cares for him and Robbie knows that very well. "Just because he's made of wiring and metal doesn't mean he doesn't have a heart... sort of." ALBERT can be verbally summoned to and from anywhere vocally by Robbie or anyone ALBERT recognizes as being close to Robbie.
Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup Utonium
Bubbles was the first to make friends with Robbie, who was shy at first when he was introduced to the Pokey Oaks Kindergarten class. Blossom soon invited him into their games, and even Buttercup warmed up to him (kind of). When Princess Morbucks first blabbed about his family's wealthy status (mainly how they aren't as rich as hers), Blossom and Bubbles were willing to show Robbie the same friendship they showed before they learned he was rich. Buttercup was mainly interested in what cool stuff he could buy her until she saw the disapproving looks on her sisters' faces.
Mike Believe
The Powerpuffs may be Robbie’s friends, but Mike is Robbie’s best friend. Mike was the new kid before Robin, the new kid before Robbie, and he was rather withdrawn when he first moved to Townsville having been nothing but a bully target at his last home. Mike readily accepted Robbie for him rather than his money, because he knew the value of true friendship, and the two play together often.
Robin Snyder
The two are hardly more than close acquaintances, only knowing each other through the Powerpuff Girls. However, they will play together during recess and laugh over how similar their names are.
Princess Morbucks
The towns richest kid (the Morbucks family is richer than the Cernoggie family, but not by that much actually) and snootiest one at that, Princess was the one who blabbed that Robbie was actually from THE Cernoggie family, thus quite wealthy. Though Robbie and Princess have quite the rivalry, Robbie's always willing to make peace with her. Once when the Morbucks stocks crashed leaving the family temporarily broke, Robbie gave her a million-dollar check towards anything she wanted to buy, but warned her that the check would cancel if she used it for anything evil (she ignored his warning and used it for evil anyway).
Brick, Boomer, and Butch Jojo
Though Robbie is considered Princess' own Rowdyruff Boy counterpart, he is never addressed as such. He has, however, been tricked into helping the Rowdyruff brothers with some of their schemes. In spite of their bullish behavior, Robbie holds onto the unwavering belief that the Rowdyruff Boys can use their powers for good if they really tried. Just try getting them to consider that.
Here is just a simple picture of Robbie.
This is my idea for what his power suit would look like if he were to buy one the way Princess bought hers. My idea is that he paid Dexter to make it. XD The goggles are not only eye protection, but they also provide the optic-based powers. And the pilot cap is not just a "fashion statement." The power for his suit come from that cap... I believe I read somewhere that the power for Princess' suit comes from her crown; I don't quite remember the episodes where she wore it well enough. |

This is actually a really good idea for a character. It would have fit in the series perfectly and it's well thought out. If the show were to continue it wouldn't have surprised me to see such a character like this eventually.
Props to you, welcome to RRN. |

| Skid linked me this a while ago but I didn't get around to reading the entire thing until now, and it is quite impressive. Characters have been made and scrapped so many times here, but you seem to have got some promise there. Good job kid, keep up the good work |
