This is what my family says:
Me: he had a wife but she was killed in a scientific experiment
brother 1: She was murdered
Brother 2: He never had a love life
sister 1: She dumped him cuz "he was way to freaken smart"
sister 2: What?!?! He had a LOVELIFE?!?!.....whats a love life?
mom: He was unlucky in love
step dad: She dumped him
Who do you think is right, or do you have your own opinion??? Please comment!!! Thanx |

| My theory: he married a powerpuff (not necessarily Chemical X-dominant), reproduced with her, and she died in childbirth, leaving the three Powerpuff Girls. To hide the harsh truth from his daughters, he used the myth inspired from the nursary rhyme to explain how they were created (Sugar, spice, and everything nice). What IS "Everything nice" exactly? From what's seen in the shows, it's a montage of elements that typical girls enjoy, but that doesn't make it true. The Powerpuff Girls inherited Chemical X from their mother since the professor doesn't have any in him either, and his genetic structure is not compatible with the substance, much like usual humans. The mother may have had it, but there was no mention of such, so any description of what she'd be like is anyone's guess except that either she and/or the professor had some Chemical X somewhere in the bloodline, whether dominant or recessive. |

I keep saying I have done extensive research, so consider this evidence should anyone question my powerpuff wisdom. |

Yea. That sounds a lot like what the opening scenes were REALLY getting at. Damn KP, you must certainly know your stuff.

^yeah, but...come on...You think Prof. Utonium FUCKED a Powerpuff? That's just.....disturbing!
But, I'm not really on the 2nd brother's side, but at the same time I kinda am...I don't think he had a love life to begin with, but he lter did date Keene, then suddenly broke up with her |

My theory:
"On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me~
CLAP!
Then I left her."
I'm so very very sorry. XD |

And to that theory, I give a "lolz, ya rite." Where can you see that indicated anywhere in the show?
Eh, my guess is that paid more attention to science then girls and never had a lovelife, he was more attached to his work. And that's why he acts a lot like Joh from Garfield around girls: AWKWARD.=P All indications show that he might end up with Ms. Keane (although I didn't see the Keen on Keane episode, so I dunno how true that is anymore). Maybe that's more the fan's perspective, but I still think it's perfect.^^ |

| and there goes Gopher, messing with my head again. It is true, I do take the powerpuff topic as serious business, as it is my life study. But what's the point if I can't giggle a little? |

I both agree and disagree. I did give my opinion out, and to me it's the most scientificly believable because the traditional story seems like a myth. I admit I put a lot more of my life in powerpuffs than any other fan (perhaps more than all RRN put together). When I think about it, I can't see any other way other than the Powerpuff Girls had to have inherited Chemical X somewhere, unless if it were a special mutation. It it were SO special, then why are there so many other powerpuffs out in--wait, that's just the fan-inspired stuff.
Aside from that, I try to keep loose, laugh with the others, and try not to take things too harshly. |

| Well my evil-tuffs had chemical X in them. And so did the rowdyruff boys, and I think the moral of this story is that if proff. Utonium didnt put chemical X in the mixture, they wouldve turned out to be normal little girls....... like Robin. The chemical X is what made them bug eyed nub-for-hands super heroes. The chem. X is wat makes them "puffed" Im sure everybody that has there own "puff" says that they have chemical X in them.......or even Crap X (an even higher level) Because in "a new kind a villian part 1/original" HIM says that the evil tuffs are made out of sugar, spice, and everything mean, and chemical X. Even Cutie was made out of chem. X......so do you see what Im saying? |

The best theory concerning Professor Utoniums love if is that at one point he did have a love and she died. How she died is a mystery.
I think this is the best educated guess after watching Season 1 Episode 2a, Mommy Fearest. After the professor puts the girls to bed and goes to his room, the camera shows the professor on one side of the bed with one pillow on the left and one on the right. If he never had a love in his life, why would there be a pillow on the right side, unused? Why wouldn't he put that pillow to use? How come he looked over to the pillow and the empty bedside as if he was hoping to see someone in particular over there? The inferred explanation, given by the basic storyline following that scene, is that he was just sad because he had no "partner" in his life (lonely). But if you look at the clues during that scene, look deeper at the screenwriting, the best explanation is that he recently did have someone. It's also possible that she didn't die, she might have just left him, but I think this possibility is unlikely.
I'm just making an educated guess based on that one particular scene. I know my post isn't much of an answer as to what may have happened to her, but I believe that scene can completely rule out the idea that there never was someone real close to him. Obviously I could be wrong, but there is no defininite answer, all we can do is speculate. Only Craig McCracken knows for sure.
also, sorry if this thread wasn't meant to be serious or anything but it just got me thinking
My guess is she died in an accident or of a terminal disease |
