"It's every single man's fear to hear those words, and no i'm not speaking of I love you. The single most fabled words men can hear, which happens to be: "Honey, I'm pregnant.". I don't know what you want to hear from me, you already got my name down (which happened to be Riley McNulty) what more do you want?"
"We want the story!" The cop growled across from the table. "We know something happened out there, we saw everything and we know you have accomplices. WE KNOW! TELL US WHO THEY ARE!" He roared viciously.
"You want the story?" Riley screamed back at him. "I'll explain the story, but first you need to realize what you're dealing with."
"What's that?" he laughed, rolling his sleeves up. "A bunch of punk kids who decided to go on a little adventure?" Riley laughed leaning backwards in his chair.
((OOC: And here's where you start))
"We weren't just kids," Riley replied in a large smile. "we were something bigger. We were something amazing. We were all renegades, we were a part of something, and nothing you say here can take that away."
"So that's what you're calling yourself? The Renegades?" The police officer smiled and stood up out of his chair. "YOU'RE JUST KIDS!"
"NO!" Riley stood up and slammed his hands into the table, growling slightly. "WE WERE SOMETHING ELSE!" His hands twitched slightly as the hair grew longer and his body began to contort. His fingers began to pull inwards and grow furry as his fingernails rose out into claws and his face changed. The black ponytail shortened and the hair tie was stuck in the tangled mess of fur that was sprouting from his body. The orange hoodie he was wearing shifted with his body, stretching as well as the jeans until before, in the Police Interrogation Room of Precinct Number Thirty Two was a large bear. In three hours all that was left in the Interrogation Room was a knocked out man, with "Renegades" carved into his body with bear claws.
Fifty miles away the only bear wearing clothes shifted backwards into a human, shaking his head to let down long black curly hair that fell in front of olive skin and dark brown eyes. "Guys, we're gonna be famous by morning. Lets go." |

"She's not saying anything?"
The police officer shook his head.
Officer Gutierez (lol Pyro) was standing outside another interrogation room with Commissioner Jacobs. They stood behind the two way mirror staring at the suspect they had in custody.
"She refuses to talk." Officer Gutierez said.
Commissioner Jacobs stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind him.
Roberta James sat in the chair staring at the glass of water they put in front of her. She slouched in her chair with her hands inside the pockets of her favorite hoodie. Her black hat turned backward on her head, her purple Converse planted firmly on the floor.
"Roberta James. You have to talk or you don't get out of here. We'll keep you here all night if we have to." He said sitting in the chair across the table.
"Look. I've seen more than enough tv to know the 'good cop bad cop' thing. Maybe you should send in the bad cop again. I think he has a better shot." Roberta said to him. "And my name isn't Roberta. It's R.J."
"Ok." He said rubbing his temples. "I'm trying to level with you here. Just tell me what happened, and you'll be free to go."
R.J. looked at his face. She had the ability to read people's faces and could tell when they were lying.
"The only thing I can tell you is that it was the work of The Renegades." She said.
"Well, since you aren't going to talk, I'm afraid to tell you that cell 128 will be yours for the night." Commissioner Jacobs took one more look at her and walked out of the room.
R.J. sat on the bed of her cell wishing that the clouds would give way and let the moonlight shine through the bars on the window. Suddenly, she heard a loud crash and officers running down the hallway. She ran to the window and saw the bear running into the woods.
"Don't worry Bear. I'm on my way." she said to herself.
The clouds finally broke flooding her room with moonlight. Her eyes changed from brown to yellow, her nose grew into a snout, her hands becoming paws.
Usually transforming was not a problem for her. She could change from human to werewolf easily, even without the help of the moon. Tonight was a challenge though. Something was keeping her in her human form, and she could not quite figure out what it was. But now that the moonlight was shining on her, she could become the werewolf that was inside her.
One quick swipe of her claws and the metal bars on the windows were gone. She jumped through the open window, gave a howl at the moon, and ran after the bear.
Fifty miles away from the Police station she had sat in not more than a hour ago, she met up with The Renegades.
"Guys, we're gonna be famous by morning. Let's go." said Riley.
R.J. looked blankly at Riley, and followed him down the road. |

"Alright. We're going to ask you one more time."
I could see the redness in the officer's face heighten to put the reddest apple to shame. I was pissing him off. And i was enjoying every second of it.
"What happeNED OUT THERE!!!"
"We are the Renegades." is the simple reply I've given him after every singe question he's asked me.
"You stupid little punk. You don't get it do you. I'm going to put you away in a cell until long after your hair turns gray. Now TALK!"
"We are the Renegades."
The officer's face was now turning a bluish color as if he were trying to hold back something foul in fear of losing his job. I on the other hand was just playing one of my favorite games. I think my record color of anger was a black face before the guy actually got so pissed off he tried to blow me up.
"I want to know-"
"We are the Renegades."
This was it, cutting him off mid-sentence was the final straw. He brought his fist back and punched me square in the jaw knocking me and my chair backwards to the floor.
This was what i was waiting for. The officer's final mistake. I landed, rolled backwards onto my feet, gave a toothy grin that showed off my growing fangs, and lunged forwards into the air at the officer. Mid-air, my muscles grew and my body grew black fur with a silver patch on my back.
I had finally been able to let the Silverback Gorilla that was always caged on the inside, out. And this Officer was about to find out what a 6 foot, 350 pound gorilla could do.
I tackled the man, lifted him to the air and slammed his back down onto my knee. If he wasn't dead, he was going to be paralyzed forever. As soon as i dropped his lifeless body to the ground, about five more officers weilding guns came crashing through the door. I roared at them then threw myself at the sole window that was in the room and crashed through it.
It wasn't until after that i realized that i was on the second floor and had to grab a branch that broke under my weight and landed with a hearty thump on the ground.
I looked up and saw Bear running from the station. Shortly thereafter followed by a giant wolf. I took off after them and got there while Riley was saying "Guys, we're gonna be famous by morning. Lets go."
My last thoughts were "Damnit, i just got here." |
