The City of Townsvile... Is witnessing another fight.
Masenko rolled and slammed his back against the wall, tucking his head to keep it from flying backwards and ramming against the brick wall he was just launched into. Dust was thrown into the air and Masenko waited for the dust to clear before he stood up. The battle was rough, and clearly unfair.
Masenko dared to stand up, bracing himself for another impact, but to his surprise it didn't come. His arms were held up in guard as he rose to his feet and the dust had finally hit the ground, but no attacks were thrown. No laser vision was shot or special powers used. Masenko waited, lowering his guard slowly and peaking over his forearm whilst keeping his wrists crossed in front of him. It was then he realized he should be most afraid, the sight before him was a terrible one. Well, not necessarily one. It was three, a very specific three boys who weren't so little anymore.
From left to right stood the Rowdy Ruff Boys, older, and much stronger then they had once been. Before the Powerpuff Girls were all that could stop them, but since they had fallen, nobody was around to keep the Rowdy Ruff Boys under control. Butch stood on the far left, his leather jacket ripped and torn due to the scars of battle. The green stripe across the front was somewhat faded, but still vibrant enough to see what it was. Underneath he wore a white "wife beater" shirt, only to show off his muscles more once the jacket was taken off. He was sadistic, and enjoyed to watch his victims squirm.
"You've got nothing," Boomer smiled. His jacket was untorn, he rarely fought due to his brother picking on him, but he rubbed the blond shaggy hair from his eyes as he picked at the blue shirt with the black stripe underneath his jacket.
"Shut up Boomer," Brick laughed, holding up one hand. "I don't want to hear you bad mouthing an opponent who just out maneuvered you. If it wasn't for Butch watching your back you'd have died. Remember that." Brick adjusted his hat, his hair still down to his back and his shirt now fully red, black stripe missing. "No, lets get back to-"
"HYA!" Masenko screamed, holding his hands above his head with his wrists still crossed. The jewels sparked and unleashed a ray of energy that knocked the Rowdy Ruff Boys backwards and down as Masenko took off and into a sprint. He bounded around the corner, quickly regretting that as Butch fell from the sky smiling.
"I don't think so, you can't-"
"FLARE!" Masenko held his hands out in a diamond, a bright flare light coming from the jewels in his hands before he delivered a punch to the throat of Butch. His feet carried him in the other direction of Butch, and as Masenko believed himself in the clear, Brick's boot flew around the corner and caught him in the chin.
"Now now," Brick smiled. "Play fair, Butch isn't as smart as you."

"Steve! My shift is over!" R.J. yelled almost walking out the front door.
"R.J., I need you to work till 9 tonight. Stephanie called out." he yelled coming out of his office.
"Not today Steve. I've had enough of this place today." she said rolling her eyes and unbuttoning her vest.
"R.J. You take one more step out that door and you're fired!" He stood in front of her with his hands on his hips.
R.J. was getting pissed off. She hated being told what to do, and hated Steve even more for that matter. He sat on his ass all day while she did all the work. Instead of saying anything that would only raise his temper, she just walked out the front door.
She tossed her vest into the trash can as she walked around the corner. She stopped in her tracks at what was going on right in front of her face.
Brick was standing over a young boy who couldn't have been older than her. "Now now," Brick smiled. "Play fair, Butch isn't as smart as you."
R.J. didn't know if she should run in the other direction, or attempt to help this boy. She had heard about the horrible things that the Rowdyruff Boys did to innocent people, and what they had done to the Powerpuff Girls, but she couldn't work up the courage to fight them. She slowly turned around and began to walk away when she heard Brick scream.
"Boomer! Get her!"
R.J. stared to run, but it was too late. Boomer had grabbed her by the hood of her sweatshirt and pulled her backward sending her flying into the brick wall of the Grocery Store of Townsville. Aching from head to toe, she slowly opened her eyes to see the blonde Rowdyruff boy standing right in front of her.
"No...please..." R.J. gasped.
She looked up at him with terror on her face. She desperately hoped for someone to come by and save her. She could not take him out on her own. |

Masenko and the Rowdyruff Boys continue with their combat, yet, from afar stood a quiet soul. He stood near the tombstone of the long dead powerpuff, Buttercup. The soul held forth a rose and placed it soundly next to the grave. A shadowy figment appears from behind. In reaction, the soul turns around to reveal a blond-haired boy in black clothing.
"'ey, Lucifer, what about that guy in back there? He's fighting for his damn life you know and you're just standing here, morning over some twirp." the figment's rude tone addressed.
Lucifer dragged back his blonde and gray bangs, then turns towards Masenko, who of which was now being pinned down by Butch and Brick. The boy's pride reveals itself, "Hah. Such pitiful souls those three are. I suppose they shall know their place when I enter the city." he turns towards the shadowy figment, "Crypt, any idea where the others may be or arriving?"
The figment steps from the shadows. A nightmarish, gray creature with piercing red eyes and shaggy fur, pouting at the next moment. "Nah. To tell ya' the truth, I don't give a damn. Why did you come to this city anyway?" Crypt grunts, leaning over Lucifer's left shoulder.
Lucifer brushes off Crypt, "I have my reasons, Crypt. It's mainly because of the malice, but it shall pass in good time."
"Riiiiight." the nightmare snickers.
The duo turn their attention to the ongoing fight, showing neither side excelling over the other. "I suppose I should get to work, aye?" Lucifer chuckles soft, pulling up his coat's wide, rectangular collar.
"Well, if ya' don't that guy with the fancy gloves will end up getting his ass owned by a bunch of fuckin' pricks."
"True. Yet, Crypt, try using a more clean mouth. My ears can only take so much." Lucifer replies, pulling up his coat's sleeves. Crypt merely mutters frustratedly to himself as the boy strolled over to the battefield. He draws a knife from his back pocket and jabs the blade into his flesh. "Look over your shoulders, dear men. The sky will soon rain with your blood, transforming into a waltz with mine. Come forth, Blood-line, we have work to do!"
A fierce flash of crimson light ignite from the boy's eyes; the skin stiffens around his cheeks and eyes, tensing into wrinkles; a set of crooked teeth replace his human mandibles. The boy's arms flood with bloody splashes, wrapping around into a armor-like shape. He wraps the arms around his body and dashes towards the Rowdyruff Boys. The deadly trio spot their assaulter, feeling a sensation of shock and suspicion.
"Who the hell is that?" Butch questioned, ending with a rather simply-minded tone.
Neither of the other two reply as Butch's answer appeared right before his face. Within a bruding howl, Lucifer screams, "YOUR DEATH!" A enormous pair of bloody, spiked claws wrap around the young man's jacket. Lucifer tugs him over his shoulder and spins him into a nearby building. The other brothers are baffled by the sudden attack. Lucifers turns to the two bewildered men, "Worry not, you have your opponent before you." he points towards the recovering Masenko as he raised from the beaten ground, clinckling his fists with immense rage. "I leave these two to you as I have plans for the black-haired one." Masenko merely stares at the sentence, yet, discards the thought and turns his attention to Brick, but with no Boomer. Both Masenko and Lucifer show a puzzled expression, wondering where he could have went. Nevertheless, Lucifer digs his Blood-line claws into the ground, ripping a steel pipe from underneath him. He sets the pipe over his shoulder as he dashes off towards the clapsing building that held the Rowdyruff Butch.
Crypt watches from afar, showing a entertained expression as he sits comfortably on the grass. "Heheh. Dance my lil' puppets, dance. Hahahah!" |

"No No Kairi, try again...."
In a large room adorned with instruments and music books, a small frail girl was sitting at a large grand piano, her nimble fingers lightly pressing on the keys, trying to play a song that she once heard her mama play. The window next to her was wide open, and a cool breeze blew through the girl's light curls as she struggled with the music piece. Standing behind her was a very strict looking woman who looked as if she had no happiness in her life.
"No Kairi!! Press the E Key, not F! My God, you're just hopeless girl! HOPELESS!" the older woman hollered, and Kairi took the abuse, shakily closing her eyes and trying to hold back tears.
"...I-I'm sorry ma'am...." came her soft shaky voice, and watched as her mentor cursed, grabbed her music sheets, and stomped out of the room, bumping into a young man in his late twenties.
"Pardon me..." the man said with a smile, and the woman just glared.
"That patient of yours is completely stupid!! You think that piano music could soothe her mind...ha!! Not only is she out of her mind, but retarded too!!"
And before the man could even reply back, the woman left down the hallway. He sighed, and gently looked in on the sickly girl, and walked over to her.
"...S-She's right Doctor....I-I am a failure...." Kairi whispered, and two tears slid down her cheeks. The doctor simply smiled and touched her shoulders gently.
"Now Now...don't say that. What would your mama and papa think...?" he said soothingly, "You just need practice is all my dear...and soon you will be extraordinary..." he added in, patting her shoulders lightly.
Kairi sniffled, and shakily smiled at her beloved doctor and friend, and looked down. "....O-Okay...." she said softly, "I-I'll try again..."
"That's a girl. Alright then, I'll give you five minutes to practice...and then we have to leave for the clinic. You have to take the tests again."
Kairi tensed at what the doctor said, dreading the word 'test' greatly....but nodded.
"Y-Yes....I understand..." she said softly..and continued to practice her simple music piece. |

Mike Believe walked down the largely empty halls of the Townsville Sanitarium. In all likelihood, this was probably where he belonged ever since Mike killed that prick Mitch and the rest of his class. He shook his head, throwing the thought from mind. There was no sense worrying over spilled milk. Especially spoiled milk. The young boy marched past the receptionist, and all she did was glance over her magazine momentarily before returning back to it. The kid had been at the Sanitarium so many times he knew the exact way to his destination without any help.
Mike pushed open the heavy, rusted doors with some effort, and continued through the building past many padded white rooms. He turned a corner, and did the same with a second door, only having to pull a latch this time. Mike strained, he was easily the frailest kid in his class once upon a time, and these rusted doors only served to remind him. Once past the second door, he saw the door he was going for. A painted light blue one with rainbows in the window. Dr. Sherman stepped out, and gave Mike a warm smile. "Ah... Mike Believe. I see the police still haven't caught you."
"Thanks again for not turning me in... How is she?" Mike asked, scratching the back of his neck. It always upset him a little bit when he was reminded the police wanted to catch him and throw him in a place like this.
"She's as fine as she's ever been... Never talks, never smiles, just stares blankly at the wall." Dr. Sherman sighed and shook his head sadly. "The one time she spoke, all she did was ask me not to call the police and let you visit."
Mike swallowed, his throat seemingly dry. This was a common exchange between the two, nothing ever seemed to change with the fallen heroine. The doctor turned around and opened the door. "Enjoy your visit son, try and put a smile on her face." Dr. Sherman spoke softly, letting Mike pass through.
Bubbles, sadly, looked like a broken shell of her former self. She was dirty, her hair matted to her forehead and her pig tails neglected and untaken care of. The girl was hooked up to a machine meant to keep her breathing, a very large and expensive one at that. Every necessity and luxury was thrown into the room. Vibrant colors, stuffed animals, soft music the girl used to listen to was playing very quietly. The good doctor must have just put it on. Bubbles herself was in a extravagant hospital gown, and the doctors did their best in taking care of her. But there was only so much they could do without her trying to escape or without unhooking her from the breathing machine.
Bubbles' big blue eyes looked at Mike Believe, and the boy felt a strange relief wash over him. In all truthfulness, it was always a relief to see her. It meant he knew for himself that she was definitely still alive and that there was still hope for himself and for Townsville. Mike pulled up his usual stool, and sat by her bedside. "Hey Bubbles."
She just looked at him with a blank expression, staring intently. Her mouth didn't curve in a frown or a smile. Mike looked over her features. It was too bad, she could have easily been the most attractive girl in school, but with how things had turned out, that bright future had been robbed from her. A vicious and deep scar was on her throat, it permanently damaged her ability to speak. The doctors claimed however she could regain the ability to breathe on her own someday, however it would mean therapy for the rest of her life to keep her strength up and many operations in. She'd be here for the next ten, fifteen years before that could ever happen.
"I brought Octi, like always." Mike smiled, pulling the strap of the backpack off and placing the bag on the floor. He unzipped it and revealed the purple octopus with the top hat, it was definitely showing its age in how much handling it had seen the past ten years. Bubbles' eyes showed a vague hint of emotion, and her hand lifted and she struggled. Mike took it, shaking his head at her to save her strength and smiled, tucking Octi in her arm. The girl seemed content, and Mike brushed the matted hair out of her eyes and behind her ear.
Bubbles had given Mike the Octi doll the first time he visited. She struggled and risked injury to her own throat again trying to get out that she wanted Mike to have him. And Mike, every week, would visit Bubbles and bring Octi with him, since it made the girl happy and triggered the ever rare smile.
Mike held the girl's hand, explaining how the week went. "Well... You know I'm still looking for Blossom. I still haven't heard any word, but I won't give up." Mike explained, hoping to instill hope into her. "I promise, I'll bring her back kicking and screaming if I gotta. I went all the way out to Farmsville this time just to ask around. I'm planning to make a round-trip to Megaville once I get the money up, there is bound to be some information there. Can't hide a pink eyed girl forever." Mike continued to talk, Bubbles seemed to be content just listening and upset when it was quiet.
"Townsville... Well, it might actually be saved yet. There's been reports of people resisting the villains lately. It's pretty great, the Gang Green Gang actually has been reluctant to leave the dump. But its also been drawing the attention of more dangerous villains, so we'll all see how that turns out." Mike laughed gently, brushing his hair back. "I'm almost tempted to go out there myself and help, even if I don't have super powers."
Bubbles gave him a scared look, and he realized his mistake. "No no, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it." Mike corrected himself, trying to soothe the younger girl of 3 months(physically anyway). "It's not like I'd go out and challenge those guys anyway. If something happened to me I can't visit you anymore, right?" Mike smiled, glad to see he didn't upset Bubbles too much.
They sat in silence for a long while, just enjoying each other's company. Mike lived on the streets now, and they were always empty due to the iron grip the villains held. However, that always meant he was completely alone. And so was Bubbles, trapped in this stuffy room and afraid to ever leave it. Mike trailed his thumb along her knuckles, he looked tired, and just was enjoying being indoors for the time being with a cute girl. He felt the familiar stare, even when he wasn't looking directly at her she always kept her eyes locked firmly on him.
"I have to leave early today, Bubbles. I'm trying to find a job to be able to travel around a bit, and to put out missing person flyers when I do travel. I have a interview at a place called R.J.'s and I heard the management is absolutely terrible, so they're always looking for help since they lose employees so fast." Mike shrugged, and flashed her a sheepish smile. Her blank face remained stoic, but the eyes said worlds. "No, don't worry. I want to work. We all need Blossom to come back, if only to see you smile again." He admitted sheepishly, blushing lightly and scratching his head while looking away.
The two sat in awkward silence for five minutes, mostly because the boy was reluctant to leave. But eventually the boy stood, and Bubbles' gave him the 'Take Octi' look and so he did. Tucking his purple legged companion back into his backpack. "I'll see you next week Bubbles. Maybe sooner." He promised. He stood there awkwardly, looking like he wanted to say something else. He scratched his cheek with his index finger sheepishly, and bent over. He kissed the fallen angel on her forehead and scampered out of the room like he had just broken a sacred law of the land. "See ya Bubbles!" The girl stared after him, a confused look in her eyes and the very small hints of a upward curl to her lips.
Mike jogged his way through the halls of the Sanitarium, throwing his weight into the doors in order to open them more quickly. He was late, late for his interview and it would probably cost him if he didn't make up for lost time on his way to R.J.'s. He burst through the front doors of the Sanitarium, and ran down the hill into the cesspool of a city. The sky was rarely blue anymore, just red like it was now. |

Masenko stood, facing Brick with a smile. "No more lackies to help you."
"You make it sound like I need them to help me." Brick smiled and removed his leather jacket, throwing off to one side. Masenko dropped his hood, revealing a pair of light blue eyes behind his mask, and black slightly shaggy hair on top of his head. He craned his neck to each side, unleashing a loud "pop" as his neck cracked.
It was a stand off, who would move first, who would start the battle. Technically yes, it had already began, but between the two they showed some form of honor. Even the most villainous of the residents of Townsville understood that in battle you fought to your most, especially if it was a fair fight. Brick had never been one for a fair fight, as Masenko had learned by watching in the past. The Boys would never fight fairly, they used their numbers to constantly keep down their opponents, but Masenko believed that Brick would begin to fight fair.
"Watch it," Brick said, and disappeared. Masenko quickly turned, reaching down to his utility belt and drew the handle strapped to it. The small blue rounded area expanded into a large rounded shield that had locked into place just before Brick's foot smashed against it. Masenko fought to hold before sliding backwards and up against the wall, Brick soon launching himself forwards and ramming both knees up against the shield, into Masenko's body, and into the wall. "You really think you can beat me?"
"I already am." Brick's face contorted into a confused state before Masenko raised his arms around the shield and crossed them once again above his head. "HYA!" The beam launched Brick backwards across the alley and into adjacent wall next to "R.J.'s". Masenko closed his shield back down to the handle and attached it to his belt before running straight into Brick, one fist ready for the uppercut. Of course Brick was too fast, Masenko knew this. He also knew that he was too smart.
As Masenko reach Brick, Brick's straight punch missed as Masenko launched himself onto his knees, sliding across the pavement on the titanium suit's smoothness. Sparks emitted as the small ball of energy appeared in Masenko's hand, and soon launched into Brick's chin.
Masenko stood, laughing slightly. He had beaten Brick. Nobody could have lived through that, and now the Rowdy Ruff Boys would be disbanded, also meaning that he was one step closer to restoring Townsville to it's former glory. Well, he thought the Rowdy Ruff Boys would disband, meaning he was one step closer to restoring Townsville to it's former glory... Until Brick stood up.
"You son of a bitch." Brick growled angrily. "That actually hurt." He rubbed the bottom of his chin, now burnt from the close blast to the face. "That was unwise." Brick disappeared once again, and as Masenko turned to draw his suit Brick's foot collided with Masenko's chest. He shot backwards through the air, directly into a dumpster that actually caved in to fit the impact of Masenko's now bruised body.
"That fuckin' hurt." Masenko growled.
"Not nearly as much as it's going to." He pried himself from the dumpster, and upon standing Brick's knee rammed directly into his chest. It was seconds before both Brick's forearms were brought down in a double-axehandle across Masenko's back, he was now sprawled out across the ground. "You could have just left." Brick growled. "You could have let us have our fun, but you had to play the hero. We'll show you what happens to heroes."
"FLASH!" Masenko screamed as the jewels unleashed a bright flash of light directly into Brick's eyes. Masenko stood and kicked out Brick's legs, watching as the boy fell to the ground. He turned and reached into the dumpster, drawing a large piece of what looked like a thrown away quilt. It bought him a small amount of time before Brick rose to his feet, his eyesight returning.
"You're just full of mistakes today kid." Brick growled, starting giving chase to now running Masenko.
"I'm just full of tricks." Masenko replied, tossing the quilt in a spiral motion to block Brick's eyes from him.
"I'll show you tricks!" Brick's pupils grew red as he unleashed the lasers his eyes held straight through the quilt and into the wall of the alley. It was revealed as the quilt fell to the ground, now in cinders, Masenko had vanished. He was just simply gone, no following attacks, no tricks to catch Brick off guard. Masenko was just gone. |

A school bell rang,
Nastashia, A young woman dressed in the schools uniform who presumably looks far too old for school, slinks her way down the street.
"This is utter bullshit, why the fuck do I even bother with school anymore" she grumbled quietly to herself.
As she walks further down the street she trips up over a foot sticking out, "What the hell!? Why don't you get some fucking ma--" Her rant stops short as she see's a girl lying there battered and bruised.
"Oi" She pushes her hand on the girls shoulder, "OI! Wake the hell up dammit!"
She looks around for help only to notice the rowdyruff boys near by.
"fuck..."whispering under her breath.
Nastashia turns and looks at the young girl, she couldn't leave her but she didn't want to be caught herself.
Nastashia sighs softly and grabs the young girl and puts her around her shoulder. "you sure are heavy you lil' twerp"
She slowly eases away down a back alley to avoid any confrontation - She isn't some super hero so she ain't gonna risk shit -
As she makes her way down the alley, carrying this young girl she sees a shadow in front of her, someone is blocking her path.
"...shit..." She stares onward at the shadow, not knowing what to do.

"Exorior corpus corporis!"
I watch as the corpse of a fallen woman starts to shake and epilepsy uncontrollably. Holes start to appear on her flesh as bones start to tear away at it. After a couple seconds, as if the the skin were a balloon holding too much air, the front of the womans skin pops, spewing muscles and tendons everywhere. Rising from the mold, the woman's skeleton pulls itself from the remains of her body.
"Now, my fine lady. It's time to do my bidding." The skeleton bows its head at me as it leads the way through Townsville. "These are dangerous times and one would be foolish to venture through the graveyard city without some form of protection." I turn my attention towards the pole from a broken sign and my minion makes her way to it and picks it up to wield.
I hobble along using my cane for support as we head for the grocery store. It had been a day or so of wandering since i had had food and it was wearing on my already frail body. I knew of a grocery store just down the street.
"Who knows," i said to my minion. "Maybe the place has already been ransacked." a surge of excitement rose within me "Maybe some robbers have already killed the clerks. FREE FOOD!"
The prospect of free food and death made me quicken my hobble with the minion patrolling in front of me. I turned the corner and watched as a boy flew past me and skidded across the ground on his back, put his hands up and rolled up to his feet, sending an energy ball out of the crystals on his gloves.
"Watch where you're going, ya little whipper snapper!" i hollered.
The boy gave me a confused look that turned back to concentration as a red streak of light flew past me at him, nearly knocking me over.
"Now that's it!" The minion who had stayed stationary on my command leapt at the boy who had just flown past. She swung the pole at his head and with a deafening "bong" noise, the pole wrapped and bent, knocking him on the ground.
"Well there you go. Next time you'll respect your elders."
"What the HELL are you doing old man!? Don't get involved in this." the first boy yelled.
"Do i need to wipe your mouth out with soap, laddie? And besides, i'm not getting involved... my minion is." i said childishly.
The boy in red got up with a grin plastered all over his face. "You're going to regret that, you old bastard." With blinding speed, he sent a punch at my minions head. The head flew up into the sun and after that I couldn't see where it landed.
Walking past, thinking the skeleton beaten, the boy in red turned his attention to me. Out of nowhere, he received another clunk to the back of the head and fell to his knee.
"They got kind of a kick to 'em don't they, boy?" I figured this wasn't the time to heckle someone who's about to attack me but that had never stopped me before.
The boy in red, stood up, turned back to my skeleton and dismantled her piece by piece and chucked them into the horizon. I felt my connection with her disappear completely and knew that one was gone.
I turned back to the boy who had almost hit me first. "Well, you're on your own."
"I told you not to get involved, old man." he mumbled.
"Coincidently, can i use your body as an undead minion when he kills you?" |

((O_O SUPER SHORT POST! PROJECT RUNWAY MARATHON!!))
"Come now Kairi, the tests are not so bad. They won't last long, I promise..." The doctor smiled gently as he held the younger girl by the hand and led her down a beaten down gouged sidewalk, never faltering from giving her a happy look.
Kairi smiled shakily back and kept walking....or, limping from her left leg. "B-But....they rarely test problems in my leg.....but they test...my brain." she said shakily, and looked down, "They think I'm crazy...."
"No No...don't say that." The doctor said with a smile, and patted her hand and looked up at the reddish sky. "What's crazy is this world right now....what with those girls gone and those horrible villians going all over the town..." he sighed, "It's not for a sweet girl like you..."
Kairi blushed red at his soft compliment, but looked down anyway, her eyes tilting to the right...and she gasped.
"D-Doctor....that...that lady..." she said softly, and pointed, and the doctor looked up to see a beautiful woman in a school uniform holding a very injured, possibly unconcious girl.
"They must need help..." The doctor whispered, and ran over into the alleyway, leaving Kairi alone, since she did not wish to go to into the dark alleyway....
The darkness did always scare her, after all....and that was where they were waiting.... |

((You're doing fine, Tasha. ^_^))
Lucifer walked cautiously about the debris and rubble that formed from the building's clasping. He could smell the stiffening strain of dust and gas exhaust from whatever pipes that snapped after Butch's painful entrance. The hulking monstrosities of blood that where Lucifer's arms held the pipe sternly in grasp, causing the spikes inside them to slightly jut out from the top. Lucifer's snake-like eyes, created through the conjuring of his powers, moved about the hanging beams and banisters, seeing how they held themselves to the floor, struggling to stand do to the lack of support. He carefully stepped over the enormous shards of broken glass that laid underneath him. Despite knowing that getting a cut from them would only help him, he would rather make do without the immense pain that came from it.
Suddenly, Lucifer's thoughts are casted into the darkest depths of his mind, as something else had taken their place. He walks over to a large slab of rubble that jutted from the ground. Above the sharp surface of the concrete ruin, a strap of black, leathery material was wrapped around the point of the rock's tip. Lucifer picks up the material and recognized it to be a long piece the green Rowdyruff's jacket. Perhaps his claws had dug a bit too deep into the young man's back. Yet, Lucifer knew this as well to be evidence that Butch remained alive, and this would only mean more trouble. With a young man as stubborn and cold-blooded as him being out-showed as Lucifer did, the English boy had only made himself Butch's prime target. A sound is then heard about Lucifer's surroundings. All thinking is tossed aside, Lucifer prepares himself for whatever attack or ambush that might come his way.
A long silence is felt about the ruined building, no noise is heard besides from the loud spray of exhaust from the gas leap Butch's impact had caused. Just as Lucifer put down his enormous claws, the Rowdyruff attacked. Butch leaps out from underneath Lucifer's feet, grabbing him as he released himself from the concrete grave. Lucifer looks down in shock as the Rowdyruff glared at him. The boy could see Butch's jacket, ripped to point that his green stripe was nearly invisible. The Rowdyruff boy grabs Lucifer by his face, digging his fingers into the crevasses of his skin. Blood began to drip from his face, completely showing Butch was not going to let the boy go for his little performance. Lucifer struggles to release himself from the superhuman strength the Rowdyruff continued to release from his arms. Yet, Lucifer legs go of his morality, he slams his Blood-line arms against the teenager's back, allowing a satisfying crackle to be heard from inside. Butcher hollers out in pain, spitting bits of bloody saliva from his mouth at the same time. Lucifer falls to the ground, yet, recovers quickly. He looks down at Butch as he gripped his back in severe anguish. Lucifer saids nothing as he charges towards him, striking him with a uppercut, causing the air around the Rowdyruff's face to rippled from its stillness. The Rowdyruff is launched once more into the air, almost the same as the first time. Yet, the little act of repetition is put to a stop. Butch takes flight as his signature stream of green Rowdyruff light illuminated from underneath his sneakers.
"I'm gonna show you why they call me the rough one! YOU BASTARD!" the Rowdyruff roared, firing down as a raging rocket of vengeance.
"I will see you with your charge with a bit of my own!" Lucifer yelled back, charging forward at the incoming Rowdyruff comet. Yet, the boy's charging form was not that of a human's, but a wild animal, hungering for blood and a relieve of its overwhelming malice.
The two boys impact against one another, causing a shock wave to blast around their reflecting forces. Yet, both of them rip through the wave, snatching one another by the shoulder. Lucifer raised forth a fist, as did Butch. They both rocket their fists into each other's faces, causing bruises and scrapes to form about their skin. Butch stops his punching though, causing Lucifer to do the same. The Rowdyruff takes distance as he balls his left fist up. Sparks of electrical green energy flurried from the fist, then forming into a sphere of pure energy. Butch shovels both his feet and right fist into the concrete as he prepares to fire his energy blast. Lucifer merely stands, awaiting his attack. Butch smirks, allowing the blood around his bruised cheeks to drip into his teeth. "Fuckin' idiot!" he laughs, sparking a expression of insanity as he let loose his enormous assault. The sphere expands in size as it fired off like a subway train, having spirals of green electricity to follow behind it. Butch merely laughs continuously as his bulging eyes watched his blast overshadow Lucifer.
"You left yourself be open target my friend." Lucifer spoke sinisterly.
"Wha-?!" Butch gasps, his insane expression wiping away from his face.
Lucifer stabs the pipe he held into his right palm, twisting it as it dug into the Blood-line substance. He releases the pipe from his bloody imprisonment, only to show a long scythe made of blood. The boy pulls back the dripping material as the energy blast came closer. Lucifer releases a mighty swing, his face tensing into a viral snarl as he did. The blast is sliced in two, firing off into two separate directions, ending their existence with a blinding explosion. Butch is left with a grim taste of defeat, his eyes widened and shocked by what just happened.
"H-how...? H-how... how..." he muttered miserably to himself. "HOW DID YOU--!?" Butch is silenced as a sundering jab is underneath his chest. Blood sprays from his back as he wearily gazed down upon his wound. A disturbing structure of twisted blades and barbed spires impaled into his ribs, judging how the tentacle plugged through his abs and four-pack. He releases his petrified stare and looked on at the boy that stood in the distance. Lucifer addressed Butch with a emotionless gaze, yet, his eyes gave out a sense of disappointment, a sinful pride that had expected better.
"You won't die from this. I want to see better from you." he ordered, releasing the Blood-line tentacle from his ribs, causing Butch to cuff up blood. Yet, Lucifer is unmoved by his pathetic action. He turns and begins to walk away from the Rowdyruff boy. "If things do not go well with your brother's opponent, then, hopefully, he will come to you to help you. After all, brothers must stick together."
Butch gives Lucifer the finger as he grips his bloody wound, sneering as the boy's figure disappeared into the shadows. |

Masenko jumped across the rooftop, pulling off his gloves and removing his mask to reveal his light blue eyes as fake. They turned back to hazel, as his hair switched back to a light brown color from it's previous black. His mask was made to conceal his identity, he never understood how glasses made people like Superman undetectable by those who he saved. Masenko wanted to assure that he could not be found, and thusly had his appearance changed.
"The Rowdy Ruff Boys never lose," Masenko growled to himself. "If I could break them up it'd be easy, but they make it impossible in groups." He removed the upper body of his costume before throwing it into the backpack he left on the rooftop, and dawned his black dress shirt. He put his blue jeans back on after removing the titanium alloy pants and threw them into his back, now back into his normal clothing. All that was left were his gloves, which he abandoned and dawned the brown leather wrist guard he wore, and the hemp choker he loved. As he slid down the access ladder he landed and turned the corner, back out to the paranoid streets of Townsville.
"Maybe I'll go see Bubbles." Masenko said to himself. He didn't actually mean 'see' Bubbles. She never knew he was there, but he knew that Bubbles knew of the mysterious Masenko who dropped off flowers every so often. Rumor had gone around about how there was somebody resisting Townsville, and of course Masenko had been described on several accounts, but he never stayed long enough for anybody to see his face. Masenko dawned his aviators and stopped in at the florist he went to every three weeks to get flowers for Bubbles. He felt somewhat guilty, and he knew why he did it.
"Hey Jimmy," Masenko said stepping into the shop.
"Hello Donny," Jimmy replied unaware that Masenko had given him a fake name. "You ever gonna let me fill out your cards?"
"Nope," Masenko replied. "I like to make it personal."
"Who ever gets these is a very lucky girl..." Jimmy paused. "Or girls."
"Just one Jimmy," Masenko laughed. "and you wouldn't think it too lucky if you knew her."
"She can't be any worse then Bubbles up there. It's a shame what happened to them girls." Jimmy sighed, ringing up the flowers.
"Yeah, I guess not." Masenko stated, handing Jimmy the money as he picked up the flowers and walked out of the shop. The miniature cigar slipped right out of the pack as Masenko removed the zippo from his pocket and lit it up, taking a puff and blowing it into a ring in the sky. He was going to drop the flowers off at the Sanitarium, and leave all in one swoop before anybody realized who it was who left the flowers. Bubbles deserved better, and Masenko never realized what he had done would ever bring the world to this level. Bubbles was too far gone to possibly ever come back from Masenko's eyes, Buttercup was dead, and Blossom was nowhere to be seen. Townsville seemed doomed, and it was Masenko's fault. |

Masenko exists the shop, bearing the anonymous gift he planned to leave the innocent Powerpuff. He turns the corner from where the flower shop stood, sighing as he looks at passed chaos Townsville suffered on this day. A crowd of rowdy children pass him, their small stature overshadowed by Masenko's height. He drags back his light brown hair, allowing it to dangle to the back of his head as the wind rippled against his face.
"I wish I could fix what I did, but you can't change the past... No matter how hard you try." he mutters to himself, feeling a deep depression within himself. Masenko looks about his surrounding, judging whether it was clear of civilians and criminals both. "I suppose it's alright to change here." he whispers, walking into a alley between brick buildings. He pulls out his mask and gloves, preparing to dress into the only identity he was known best by.
"You shouldn't dress in alleys you know." a voice speak, ripping the silence to pieces.
"Huh?! Who's there?! Come out now!" he yelled, pushing his mask and gloves into hiding.
Through the shadows stepped Lucifer, still armed with his Blood-line arms. "I mean no harm, as do I to question why you're in a dark alley." he spots a bright gem on a velvet glove from underneath Masenko's clothing. "So, you're the one I saw fighting those three brutes."
"That wasn't me. You have the wrong guy, sorry." Masenko barks, pushing Lucifer from out of his way.
Lucifer clinches Masenko's shoulder with his claws, attempting to pull him back. Masenko counters with a swift kick to Lucifer's left, yet, his foot is stop short by the piercing spikes that jutted from Lucifer's right arm. Masenko knew he could take the boy out with one kick, but it was not worth the pain. Lucifer legs out of Masenko's shoulder as he put down his leg. "Who were those three boys?"
"The Rowdyruff Boys. They and several other villains have control this city with fear and death. Each day it's the same: someone is either murdered, raped, robbed, or worse." Masenko replies, showing anger within his tone.
"Calm yourself. I came here after hearing the numerous rumors of said incidents. I do not know if you are aware of this yet, but I came rather close to ending the green one's life."
"Butch? But how could you take him?!" Masenko asks, expressing a sign of hope.
Lucifer steps back do to the man's sudden acts. "Ehh. Well, he is far too cocky. It messes with his concentration, making it easy for me to ambush him from afar with my powers."
"What are those anyway? Some kind of armor?" Masenko replies, staring off at Lucifer's huge arms.
"In a way, yes. Yet, they are more alive than they are still. I call them the Parasitic, do to the relationship we have. I act as their host and they give me support in battle. And allow me to tell you that there is quite a catalog of attacks they supply me with. I found it rather suicidal that Butch even battled me. I'm used to fighting demons and devils, not humans."
Masenko's eyes tensened to the comment. "You remember this and remember it well: those boys, and I repeat, are not HUMAN!"
"I-I can see that. I apologize if I just complimented the enemy. Please, allow me to follow with you. It is best that people such as we stick together." Lucifer pleads. He then swings back his arms and the Blood-line reverts into a large puddle of blood. "See? No more arms, just my human ones."
Masenko merely nods Lucifer to follow as he exits the alley, but not before double checking to keep his mask and gloves hidden. It was bad enough a small boy discovered his secret identity. Then again, it was best a boy found out and not a more dangerous being. |

((OOC- I have changed my profile a bit. Pyro and I both decided that the "werewolf" power that I claimed to have would make the story kind of unbelievable. I changed it to telekinesis and telepathy, and updated my character profile. If you'd like to read more about it, feel free.))
R.J. awoke groggy and in pain. She couldn't move her left arm, and could barely open her eyes. It took her a few minutes to get her head straight. She rubbed her eye with the only arm she could use when she realized that she was on the ground in the dark alley.
"What the fuck is going on?" she said to herself not realizing there was a girl standing in front of her.
R.J looked up to see a girl standing in front of her. She was wearing a school girl outfit, glasses and had her hair in pigtails. The girl was not looking at her, but at a shadow at the end of the alley.
R.J. got up off the ground, and stood next to the girl. Together they stared at the shadowy figure at the end of the alley as it slowly started to walk forward.
"What do we do?" the girl said with panic in her voice.
"Just stay back and out of my way." R.J. said. She gestured for the girl to stand against the brick wall, as the shadow slowly approached them.
R.J. planted her feet firmly on the ground, awaiting an attack.
"Well well well, it seems that the Rowdyruff Boys are losing their luster." said the voice from the shadows. "They could have taken you out easily, even Boomer, and yet, you are still alive. Maybe he doesn't have the heart to kill innocent civilians, but I do."
The click of her heels grew louder as she stepped out of the shadows. The woman was wearing bright red heels, fishnets stockings, and a red corset. She had a whip hooked to her belt, the handle of it was easy to access.
"Sedusa." R.J. said to herself under her breath.
"Don't you stupid little girls know that the villians are running this town now. There are no heros left and there is no one around to stop us." As she ended her sentence, she grabbed the whip from her belt, and wrapped the end of it around R.J.'s neck. She stepped on the other end, tightening the grasp around R.J.'s neck.
R.J. was struggling for air. Sedusa's whip was wrapped firmly around her neck, and no matter what she did, she couldn't loosen it's grip.
"Muahahahahaha...." Sedusa laughed. She turned her face toward the girl standing against the wall. "What are you going to do now, you pathetic little girl."
The color in R.J.'s eyes were slowly starting to disappear. The black pupil of her eyes were slowly being consumed by yellow until her eyes were solid yellow. This was a very rare occurance and only happened when her telekinesis was it's most powerful.
R.J. held her right hand open, as if she were holding an invisible ball in her hand. As she raised her hand upward, Sedusa rose slowly off the ground.
"Wha...wha...what's going on!" she squealed. She started to flail in the air, but no matter what she did, she could not get her feet back on the ground.
R.J. pushed her hand forward, as if she were throwing the invisible ball she was holding. Sedusa went flying backward into the wall behind her. She fell into a crumpled heap on the floor. R.J. ripped the whip from around her neck, and threw it on the ground.
"Who said there were no heros left?" R.J. said, glaring at her.
Sedusa stumbled to her feet and glared at R.J.
"That was a huge mistake little girl." Sedusa said, running toward her. |

"S-Sedusa!?"
The cruel seductress and the two girls blinked at the male voice, and looked over to see the young doctor, bewildered and scared out of his mind.
"Hm...Why, hello there..." Sedusa purred, looking at the man up and down, the man blushing lightly.
"Y-You stay away from those girls! What have they ever done to you!?" he yelled, shakily pointing a finger at Sedusa. But the woman wasn't per say listening to his voice...just staring at him like a hungry cat.
"Grrrr, you friggin idiot. Get out of here NOW." the one girl exclaimed, the girl in the school outfit standing by the wall, almost backing away a little.
"Mmm...guess there are still some good looking...yet idiotic men around here..." Sedusa grinned, and took a step towards the doctor.
"Y-You leave him alone!!" Kairi's timid voice cried out, and squeaked, covering her mouth when Sedusa's glare at her made the small girl tense.
"What was that....?" Sedusa hissed, and stepped towards the weak girl, said girl limping back in fright.
"...I-I said leave him alone..." she whimpered, her eyes showing she was terrified beyond belief:
One because of Sedusa, whose glare became taunting and murderous.
And two...because of them. The monsters that hide in the shadows...waiting for her...taunting her...
And they were laughing at her right about now...
((OOC: ^_^ Yeah, just a reminder...Kairi believes that there are monsters hiding in the shadows waiting to get her and will go into full out panic attacks at some points~ So yeah, when she mentions 'them' or 'it', she's talking about the monsters.)) |

((OOC: Blah... the store should have been Steve's. Too late now, sorry for the confusion B18.))
Mike rounded a corner, taking note of the destruction in the general area. He didn't really have time to consider the implications as he was already late for the interview at R.J.'s. Mike turned yet another corner and the store came into view. He silently gave a small victory cheer to himself and broke into a dash for the front door.
It wasn't meant to be. Mike felt his legs disappear from underneath him and he went into a complete free fall towards the pavement at an angle. His arms scuffed and his weight hit just right to knock the air out of his lungs completely. Mike wheezed for breath, and rolled onto his back. He looked up at the sky, and saw the source of his sudden imbalance. Boomer of the Rowdyruff Boys floated above him, laughing uproariously at Mike's fall. "Oh my god, you never learn!" Boomer yelled, laughing it up.
Mike groaned, trying to catch his breath as he tenderly picked himself up off the pavement. In all truthfulness, Mike knew the boys on a certain level. After Mike had started living on the streets, he had gained three new bullies in the form of these boys. Significantly more cruel than Mitch ever was and Mike couldn't do anything about it like he could with Mitch. Mike examined his arms, they were raw from sliding on the pavement and bleeding slightly. "Look, let me go to my interview. You can throw me into the Townsville river naked later." Mike said weakly, trying to get away from the boy.
Mike's finger traced the long scar on his forearm, bad memories surfacing. The first time he met the boys, they maimed him and left him in an alley somewhere. And now, Boomer was approaching Mike as he slowly backed away. After a few seconds of that Mike turned and broke into a run, trying to escape another beating. He didn't want to worry Bubbles anymore, and show up with another black eye or busted lip. Bruises on his body were easy enough to hide.
Mike felt two knees slam into his spine, and he felt the full weight of the Rowdyruff drive him to the ground. Boomer laughed evilly, driving his knee's into the weaker boy and grabbing a chunk of his hair in his gloved fist. Boomer rubbed Mike's face into the pavement, and Mike could feel tears stinging his eyes as much as he tried to resist them. "Come on, kid! You're not as fun as usual. You could at least TRY to resist." Boomer yanked on his head, and Mike could feel his neck nearly breaking before Boomer let go and let it drop to the pavement weakly.
"GOD DAMNIT BOOMER! LEAVE THAT PIECE OF TRASH BE AND COME HELP ME!" Butch roared, he didn't sound happy in the least bit. Downright monstrous was more like it. Mike didn't even bother looking up. If they just left for any reason at all, he could get up and go lick his wounds somewhere safe.
Mike didn't dare look up, he just kept his face to the hot pavement and bled, waiting for Boomer to either continue to abuse him or for the wait of the knees in his spine to lift. |
