I'm not voting as I really haven't got into the Olympic mood. Though, I will compliment the Chinese on that spetaculiar opening ceremony, despite the rash things they did to make it happen. *winkwink*
I also will like to see how this effects our relationship with China in the future. Besides, I'm sure I wasn't the only one to notice the hidden "We apologize." in China's hosting. |

Olympics are AWESOME. The opening ceremonies were awe-inspiring, if not a little intimidating...I always thought gymnastics came closer to the end, but now they're doing them early. Swimming is also very exciting so far.=D
I thought about boycotting watching the Games because it's in China, hopefully since it has now becoming a more sophisticated, economic country (and a host city of the Olympics) things will improve in terms of humanitarian rights.
Interesting how the political side sometimes has more focus then the sports themselves.=P |
