Here is a pic i did on Gimp 2.It may not be so good only because I didnt start with an outline with the pencail/path tool, I basicly just drew this.This ch chracter of mine is Dragon Fly(in a kinda tired mood in the picture), who is a kid who got aopted by a character of mine (in this pic she isin anime and a teen/adult.Please comment on how i did :) :

| I'll give my critism first, just so that's out of the way. Dragon Fly's clothing is very flat. Their color and texture isn't as elegant as the rest of her. When I look at her skin and hair, I feel her tired emotions, but upon looking at her clothes, that feeling disappears. It sounds silly, but a picture without the coloring, it looks empty. That's mainly it. You made very good piece this time around. I really like the colorful flashes in the background, and your trademark spiral is skillfully used in this picture. Dragon Fly herself has a good, simply character design. It's definitely a form of wardrobe I see in a adopted child. Nicely done with that. She's a great character, not that I wouldn't say that for your others, mind you. Overall, a just job. Keep it up, PRG, and make sure to improve. I look forward to your next. |
