Boris: Yes, that device looks like it was intended to inflict great misfortune upon whomever it is targeted at. Perhaps you could explain in great detail the nature of its workings.
Gopher: Simple! You point it at a spambot and press the trigger, and BOOM! The spambot is erased from reality. Here, I'll show you!
Boris: Gopher, wait approximately 1 second! Your device is aimed at me and---
