Years ago, I used to do a comic called The Flowertuff girls, were I created characters based on myself and two friends, and other fictional characters. I quit drawing after a while. But I've been inspired to re-draw them, and improve them. So I'll just start off with the intro of the comic and some characters before I post the actual comic. Pics of the characters will be available shortly in the non ppg/rrb art section.
Oh, and I rate this a PG.

Legend says that the human body evolved due to the natural selection of six extraordinary beings. Three young maidens were paired off with three young men. These six supernatural humans are our ancestors. Humans with no fingers, no noses, abnormally huge eyes, and circular heads became common after our ancestors began to bear children. Then their children had children, and so on. The new generation of super-powered humans became known as Generation cX or the "puffed" generation. 1000 years passed and the puffed generation dominated the whole world in every different nation. Alas, due to the interbreeding of normal humans, most of the puffed generation lost their supernatural powers and became mere puffed humans with no special abilities.
According to the Legend of the Powerpuff/Rowdyruff saga, a fruit tree was created by a scientist, Proffesor Utonium, in which the everlasting fruit bore incredible powers similar to the ones of the legendary powerpuffs and rowdyruffs. The purpose of the tree was the preserve the power of our old heroes the powerpuffs, and use its fruit for healing the girls and give them strength. However, due to the malice of tyrannical villains, the fruit of the tree were taken and used to cause world wars, which lasted for many generations. The planet greatly suffered, but as soon as good prevailed, the tree was taken and placed in a secret, vaulted temple, where the last three fruit were left to be protected from the hands of evil. Centuries later, humanity forgot about the secret temple and the fruit tree for that matter...until three young girls accidentally found its fruit.
The main characters are:
April- 16 years old, leader of the FTG, the oldest one. She is the "mature" one, often she has patience and wits to outsmart the villains. She doesn't like to fool around as much as the other girls, although her randomness gets the best of her at times. Her unique abilities are psychic, and telepathic powers. she can control objects with with her mind, and read other people's thoughts. At first her new power scares her, for she can't control her ability to read minds. After she gains dominance over her power she is able to use it when she needs it.
Flor- 15 years old. The youngest one. She is the "buttercup" of the group, although she is also the joker of the group; she uses alot of sarcasm. Sometimes she has the tendency to use her humor during the wrong moments, and it often gets her in trouble. Her unique abilities are electricity and speed.
Michelle 15 1/2 years old. The "bubbles" of the group. She is shy, sensitive. She is often the fearful one and hesitates to attack; she hates war. Her unique abilities are healing powers. |
