^Yes, he is from Afghanistan. And you met him?! Lucky! I fell in love with his first bestseller, The Kite Runner. OMG, I cried! I hate the movie though, they really ruined it, and omitted alot of important parts from the novel.

What would be a real treat for me would be meeting Amy Tan, her writing is awesome! ^_^

I love the Great Gatsby! That's why I want it! I love how there was no happy ending! lol, non of that unrealistic happy bull crap for this book. I felt sorry for Gatsby though.

ZOMG I'M AN AVERAGE HIGHSCHOOLER THAT EVERYONE LOVES AS SOON AS I STEP INTO THE SCHOOL. I DON'T THINK I'M PRETTY BUT I'M REALLY HAWT.

I am a vampire with no sense of the word emotion. I also become very abusive to my girlfriends and are overall an ass.

8D ZOMG I <3333 U ONLY BECAUSE YOU'RE HOT. LET'S GO HAVE SPECIAL BABIES.

Okay.

>_> I nutshelled the story to whoever didn't read it.

Aaaand I LOVE THE KITE RUNNER! DX That book made me wanna jump in there and BEAT two of the characters....then I wanted to adopt Hassan.

To Kill A Mockingbird was an amazing book, I should read it again soon. Weird that The Great Gatsby wasn't on my reading list...

Oh yeah, and for anyone who wants a REAL love story ( :P ): I recommend Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, and Anna Karenina <---really, really loooong reading but awesome character studies.

Or if you want your mind bend out of shape, read A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle. I read it when I was 12 and I STILL don't get a lot of it. XD

Yes! I too have read "To kill a Mockingbird." It was a powerful and dramatic experience. I especially loved the scene where the protagonist finally does kill the mockingbird. For mocking him. It so had it coming. And "The Kite Runner" was a heartwarming experience as well. It takes true courage for someone to run around all day. With a kite. Or two kites. For whatever reason.

STFU I READ THEM!

Ah, Jane Eyre! I have that book, and I love it! But I love Wuthering Heights even more! I own both. that's why I want Agnes Grey so I can have the Bronte sisters collection!

Also, I USED to own Huck Finn, but thanks to some idiot that I let borrow, I never got it back. :( And every time I approach him about it, he denies that I ever lend it to him! You do NOT steal my literature! I get pissed!
