It's like skynet is actually talking to us(The brits are taking over?... o: ) ... Naw, on subject, That is just ridiculously creepy and silly but, Impressive technology from teh 360(Okay Josh, you win, I'll try to get a 360 :B ). Meh, I dunno, might be fun if you're bored(I wonder how he'll reacts to harsh cruelty :B ).
"You little dipshit, go back to your room and no dinner for you tonight you spoil brat!"
"Until you scrub the car that you got your stinkin dirty hands on, then you'll can go back to play you snotty little shit"
PFFT, that's what I imagine XP |

I saw this while watching the Microsoft Conference live. What I love about this is that it's only the beta model and yet, they've presented it so flawlessly while the PS3 just goes and rips off the Wii XD. (See Sony Conference)
I'd like to see how many times Milo can take a punch in the face as well :P
Microsoft have out done themselves, sell your PS3s they are more worthless than ever now.
Muahahahaha Vic, now you see the truth! |

^Hah, I know right? SIXAXIS my ass, that device is worthless(Hell, even GTA4 has that but... Does anybody even bother using that useless device in the game or ANY game for that matter?. I dunno, Sony is so gonna go bankrupt somewhere in teh future, they'll running out of ideas).
But as for me having the PS3... I'll keep it if there's any EXCLUSIVE titles that they still have(but then, I feel envy of 360 users due to the fact that all the cool games are on that system from what I've looked at... and I swear, if they come out with a new system just as I get the 360 >/... )... Okay, so I'ma in a pickle in this situation(be free to call me a FOOL :p). (besides, there's another MGS game coming to the 360... now if only I can get Ace combat 6 if they still have it)
The wii is a pretty good system then PS3(IMO I think there should be more first person shooters on that system as well, aside from the wiimote glitch that I'm experiencing atm).
Derailing? Yes, but, I had to say that.
CURSE YA BRIT : P... YOU FORCE ME INTO SUBMITTING, YOU WIN THIS ROUND -shakesfist- XP |

Well I can see this thread derailing into an E3 discussion so I've changed the title.
But I gotta admit, I'm pretty jealous of the PS3 exclusive "MAG". 256 player online battle sounds hot. |

| I'm a little skeptical of this kind of technology. I mean, I believe that Project Natal will allow interactivity with whatever's going on inside the game, that's not new. But you can actually talk with this kid? I think I have to see it to fully believe it. |

^I remember the interactivity technology being allowed in that POKEMON pikachu game that was a rage way back but, that one sucked(Yes, call me crazy but, I actually have one lolz :V). This new one, however, looks a lot more accurate from what I've seen(then again, the kid may not understand what you say sometimes is the only disadvantage of this technology maybe cause of speech imperilment I dunno). Also, the kid, supposed to recognize
your face and appearance from what I've seen in the video as well(I assume that you can save your progress in the game as well, if they have a saving option that is I dunno). |

Naw, man. Childlike innocence, voice interface, and nuclear holocaust? That's not Skynet. That's WOPR from WarGames.
'Ello, Professor Falken! Fancy a game?
Yes, Milo. Let's play a game of Global Thermonuclear War.
Cor blimey! That game is bollocks, guv! The only winnin' move is not to play! 'Ow 'bout a noice game o' chess?
(No, I don't know why I made Milo a frickin' Cockney.)
Anyway, back on topic, let's play the Pyramid. The Sega Activator... The Sony EyeToy... The Nintendo Wii Balance Board... Microsoft's Project Natal... "Video game peripherals that undermine the very point of video gaming!" DING! Look, if God had meant for us to be exercising our bodies while playing video games, He wouldn't have given us couches for video games and the great outdoors for exercise.
I mean, the Wiimote can be used from the comfort of sitting on one's butt. (Yes, even in Wii Sports. My brother swears by a mere flick of the wrist when bowling.) Ditto the Sixaxis. But this? Oh HELL no. Now, to be fair, the voice and face recognition don't require physical activity, and if they work as advertised they should be pretty sweet. But the motion sensors are just plain unwanted. Put it back, Microsoft, and give us our 360 controllers! |
