Yes the last one was a dud. I blame myself, lost interesting in my character fairly quickly and once I lose interest I find it hard to continue on, the posts would have been forced and painful to read, I was doing you a service. My apologies.

For this new RP, I would like to say now, it's a bit comical, I'm sure there will be points in which you're looking going: What the fuck are you thinking Pyro? Where did you pull this outta your ass from? I ensure you I gave this much thought and found no one better to star in this then the person I chose. I hope you enjoy the premise. I'll be posting my own profile later (it doesn't need to be the obscenely long one used in the previous RP unless you do so chose to use that one). Here goes the plot line:

2013, the world is rebuilding after the nuclear holocaust that left should have in fact been that. What was not expected was those who did live through this catastrophe being 73.43% of the world. After closer examination there was a condition most of the world had, excluding that of Japan origins, now making them an extinct race. They've entitled it 'stone skin'. It's the immunity to atoms and radiation, surprisingly enough leaving the world in disarray, but allowing most of it's inhabitants to live through the blast that tore up the land and buildings.

Of the all the countries in the world, the only one who seemed to have the least damaging effects was the nation of Cuba, who now in the current day was so technologically sound that they pretty much became the head of the world. Technology took such an amazing step backwards despite the knowledge known by man, due to the ravished earth that left it barely able to produce what was needed to make the things we used to enjoy such as laptops and gameboy or television. Television has suffered completely in the 100% abandonment of it, it was considered an unnecessary implement in the reconstruction of humanity, and now Radio has become the most popular thing.

The leaders of the world have fallen to pretty much nothing, America, once proud and strong, lives in shadow of the neighbors just merely across a small water base, Cuba, and their new leader. Hugh Laurie, former actor on the hit TV show 'House'. Once television was abandoned, he took his career and decided to become Dictator of Cuba, he now controls a good portion of the world, mostly in the Middle East and Africa. He looks to control everything, this is where it must stop.

Upon the explosion occurring, it's been obvious that once the 'Stone Skin' power has been mixed with such a blast of atomic waves, mutations have occurred. Due to the already slight mutation of the 'Stone Skin' gene once hit with such a large wave of atomic radiation all at once another mutation occurs. Normally to match the half mutated gene. Most people's mutations come from what they were doing at the time of the explosion. Those who survived maintain a power, the strength of it depending on the will of the person, some say. There's been told legend of a man who can make meatballs rain from the sky, a woman who can shift the color of her and other's hair, and even a person who can make atomic blasts go off with a single point of his finger to the sky... Though this power is seen as pretty much useless given the 'Stone Skin' ability.

This RP is going to be definitely an interesting one, because you're going to have to figure out what power you were mutated to have. Please, no born powers. Heaven and Hell do not exist (aside for merely religion) so no demons or angels or heavenly gifts or anything of that sort. I'd like to see your creativity. Let the sign up begin

I'm still having a hard time seeing the comedy in all that calamity, but seeing how Cuba is the source of power at that time, it's a pretty hilarious situation. I'll give it a shot. It's out of my comfort zone of demons and Occult shit. Who knows, it might expand on my subject matter. :)

The comedy side would be the more preposterous powers Keeper. The fact that actor Hugh Laurie also has taken over Cuba amongst the calamity will make it amusing. You'll see, it's more lighthearted then previous RP's i've been in is all.
