Hello, I'm new here.
I hope there's no need to tell anyone about my love of PPG (because I wouldn't be here otherwise) :3
Some info on me;
I draw.
I love horror movies (especially gory ones).
And if I ever get the chance to buy a tablet I'll certainly post some sweet drawings (Though I do have some scanned ones on my dA page). |

Aye! Indeed! Agreed! I fully weclome ye to the 'ole forums, Ragzi! :D
It's nice seeing fellow horror enthusiasts. Which genre do you enjoy best? Aside my question, do enjoy your stay and have a grand experience here. And seeing that you can draw, I'm sure you share a similar admiration to other artists' works as much as I do. Anywho, welcome! Make yourself known! And have a good time. :) |

@Cutie: My dA page is on my profile, but just in case you're as lazy as I am, here's a link

@Hana: I noticed a few people online when I joined, then I was like "No they all leaved meh D:"
@Keeper: I'm a bit slow today, so I hope I can answer your question thoroughly. I prefer macabre pictures myself, but when it comes to movies I like old school jump-out-from-behind-you-and-slaughter-you movies like Friday 13th. Oh, and I adore creepy music and nursery rhymes.
@DarkGunn: Oh shweet. It's good to know that I won't be molested by you anytime soon.
@Pirate Babe: :3 That sounds interesting. |

That's quite fortunate for me then. I draw macabre. :) Mostly Hell-related and sometimes undead, but necessarily creepy looking individuals. Heh, you can't beat a good old slasher flick. I enjoy the oldies myself, and I try to steer clear of today's "horror" movies. If that's what they truly are these days. :roll: An additional liking of mine is Asian horror movies. They have a haunting atmosphere to them that you rarely see in western horror movies. Most of them have to do with spirits though, but that's a large portion of eastern superstition, I suppose. It's a shame we sometimes remake movies that already exist over there, only to ruin them over here. Still, great preferences. I enjoy Silent Hill's tracks and the tales told in the Brothers Grimm, and a bit in Dante's Divine Comedy. They're my inspiration. :D |

^The old "Horror" classics(even if they had cheesy special effects) Owns the crap out of todays standard horror genre. Today, it's just about "Action" rather then the thriller/survivor/scare shitless elements that made horror worth watching a few years back. It's like I've been saying for a while now... You can't beat the CLASSICS.
....
But anyways, welcome to the forum newcomer, it's good to see another Horror fan on here. Friday the 13th, I never watched that trilogy but, I did watch the Nightmare on elm street though. And if you have any art to post, be free to post'em and I'll probably(which I don't usually do in that section)comment on em. I suck at commenting on stuff at times >_<;(But, be asure that I still look at you peeps arts :9 ).

@Keeper: Silent Hill was a good movie. I also enjoyed the new Friday 13th. I would also love to see your work! Do you have a dA page?
@Vicious: I did like Saw quite a bit, even though I wouldn't categorize it into "horror". But I will post my drawings as soon as I make a couple more of my original PPG. |

@Ragzi... Meh, I never really liked the SAW series, it's more like a survival horror genre I've guess but, it was a Lame series I never watched the sequels. Saw sucked after the first one. Too much stupid sequels. But don't let my comment stop you from liking SAW though, I mean you're free to like any series that you wish though for sure :).
And what Elmo says, get SILLEH like meh : D. |

@Elmo: I'll remember that :3
@Vicious: I know what you mean completely, but I love watching how the people react to the situations and I love the puzzles they're put through. |

It's also on my profile, but this helps just as well - perhaps even better. Updates for me are pretty lengthy at some points, but I've got 200 something amount of pictures to keep your appetite fresh until I can update some time next week. Maybe sooner, but I never knew myself to fully keep a promise. Eh, I'm human.
Regarding the horror movies, I suppose the new Friday 13th would be better than the originial, but I thought they made Jason too... human, like he was completely aware of what he was. When in the originial movies he had a single goal in mind, and killed anyone who got in front of that goal. That's passion you've got to admire. Also, I mainly referred to the Silent Hill games and their touch on that macabre feel, but also true that the movie brought homage to that demented feel. It fuckin' ruled when Pyramid Head teared off that woman's skin, huh? X3 |

I'll go look right now.
I've never played the games, sadly. Though Clock Tower (I've played 1 and 3) is a really good game. |
